Trentino had a tough game against Valentia at home. Trentino after the Champions League victory wanted to quit the series as soon as possible, but Valentia was fighting untill the last whistle. Valentia had the game in the hands after third set, leading 2-1. However Trentino has M. Kaziyski and L. Vissoto in great shape.
Michal Winiarski (Diatec Itas Trentino):”It has been very hard but we managed to close the series in three games. We had problems with Valentia in two games.”
Macerata got rid of dissapointment from Champions League Final Four and claimed convincing victory over Treviso. Even return of S. Hubner did not stop the team of D. Giorgi. Macerata will face Piacenza in the semifinal.
