Update On Dean Ambrose’s WWE Schedule

Earlier this week news broke that former world champion Dean Ambrose would be leaving WWE after his contract expires this April.

After being a relatively unimportant entrant in the annual Royal Rumble match, losing clean to his rival Seth Rollins on RAW the next night, and being attacked by Nia Jax immediately after, rumors predictably began circulating that the so-called “Lunatic Fringe” was wrapping up his time with the company early.

According to PWInsider.com, Ambrose is on the road with the RAW brand for this week’s WWE Live events and is also scheduled for upcoming television tapings.

The issue was never that Ambrose was expected to blow off his final dates with the company, but whether or not they would want to continue using him after publicly announcing that he was on his way out within a few months. It is unlikely he will be booked into any major arcs, but it also wouldn’t be the first time WWE gave one of their top stars a farewell program.
