As recently reported, All Elite Wrestling’s October 2 television debut on TNT will kick off with a match between the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and one of the promotion’s hottest up-and-coming stars, Sammy Guevara.
AEW has now announced another huge match for the launch on TNT as Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks will team up for a six-man battle against Chris Jericho and two mystery partners who will be named at a later date.
The match could be even more interesting come October 2 as Jericho could be going into the show as the first ever AEW World Champion. He’ll take on Hangman Page at ALL OUT next month with the winner becoming the promotion’s inaugural title holder.
