– As previously reported, John Laurinaitis is no longer WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. That role is now filled by Triple H. Laurinaitis is now working under Triple H, who recently brought in Canyon Cemen (Talent Development) and Jane Geddes (Vice President of Talent Relations). Geddes is now handling a lot of the tasks previously done by Lauirinaitis.
Laurinaitis has had many of his duties scaled back in recent months, but is now on the road much more since he’s an on air character and has been wrestling in handicap matches against John Cena. Laurinaitis is still in charge of booking WWE’s live events and handles talent payroll.
– To update the story of Kelly Kelly taking time off from WWE, some people in the company do not expect her to return. She has not been granted a full release.
Kelly Kelly, under her real name Barbie Blank, is currently represented by the ATA Agency, which is pitching actively trying to land television projects for her, both scripted and reality based. Aside from her experience as a WWE diva, the fact that she’s been featured on Maxim Magazine’s annual “Hot 100” list for the past two years has been a big selling point for her in booking work outside of WWE. As you can imagine, WWE is not pleased about ATA’s efforts on her behalf.
