Man Utd boss Solskjaer hits back at reports over Sanchez

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Manchester United fans to expect Alexis Sanchez to play more matches this season.

There have been reports over the last week that the Chilean will be dumped in the reserves unless he seals a move to another club before the end of the European transfer window.

Other reports claimed that there are four clubs in for his services but Solskjaer has dismissed those reports and says Sanchez could play a big part for United this season.

“Alexis is such a professional and he comes in working every single day really hard and wants to be a part of this,” Solskjaer told reporters.

“It’s these stories he’s been put in the reserves of course he hasn’t, he’s had three weeks now, he’s a few weeks behind the rest but close to being ready.

“Alexis we don’t have the biggest forward line in numbers so Alexis might end up playing a lot more games than you expect, we expect him to come good at this club, he’s quality.”
