Sanchez ‘fuming’ after ‘angry’ bust-up with Man Utd youngster

Alexis Sanchez was involved in a training ground bust-up with Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood, according to reports.

Sanchez scored just one goal and assisted three in 20 Premier League appearances last campaign as his struggles since joining United in January 2018 have only continued.

The Chilean was part of a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan head to the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez is desperately trying to return to fitness so that he can stake a claim for a spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad after being injured during Chile’s third-placed play-off at the Copa America.

And now The Sun claims that Sanchez ‘was left fuming in pre-season after a clash with rising star Mason Greenwood‘.

Greenwood ‘fouled’ him in his first training session back with the United squad and ‘angry words were exchanged between the pair’.

The report adds that Sanchez is still part of Solskjaer’s plans despite rumours that he could leave the club over the summer and he has ‘spent time working away from the squad in his bid to return to action’.
