Wolves are on the verge of signing Lyon’s Brazilian left-back Fernando Marcal, according to reports.
Unlike previous transfer windows, Wolves have been fairly quiet this summer.
They brought in Matija Sarkic on a free transfer from Aston Villa, but their first major signing was Fabio Silva for £35.6 million from FC Porto yesterday.

According to Mirror, Silva could be joined by Marcal as the Brazilian is set to sign for Wolves later this week.
The deal is expected to cost the West Midlands side around £2.5 million once personal terms and a medical have been completed.
The 31-year-old is an exciting player who will provide current left-back Jonny Otto with cover for the forthcoming season.
The move is a clever one for Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo as the club sets their sights on European football.
They will need plenty of squad depth after playing nearly 60 games last season. They’ve also had just weeks to prepare for the 2020/21 campaign following their Europa League defeat to Sevilla.
Wolves were looking light defensively after Republic of Ireland international Matt Doherty joined Tottenham for £15 million.
Marcal fuelled rumours of a transfer by following the club on social media recently. He now looks set for a debut season in the Premier League.
Wolves start their campaign away against Sheffield United on September 14th.
They will be aiming to beat their seventh place finish last season, when they lost out on European football on goal difference to Tottenham.
Wolves fans will be confident after they managed to keep hold of star striker Raul Jimenez. The Mexican scored 17 goals in 38 Premier League games last time out, which made him a summer target for both Man Utd and Real Madrid.
However, it now looks like Jimenez will link up with Portuguese wonderkid Silva up front.

The 18-year-old is one of the most promising young strikers in Europe and will want to make a big impression in England.
