As we all know by now, WWE is going to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw on January 22nd. The show will be taking place in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and in the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom. Names such as Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and The Undertaker have already been advertised for the show and the company is reportedly in the process of getting more names added to the historic show next month. Two of the company’s top names are now signed on to appear on the show. WWE is now advertising Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for the event next month. The company is also hyping up an appearance from John Cena at Raw’s 25th anniversary show as well.
Brock Lesnar is currently being advertised to appear on the 25th anniversary show for Monday Night Raw next month. That is not the only date that Lesnar is scheduled to appear on WWE television as much of his schedule for early 2018 has been revealed. WWE is currently advertising Brock Lesnar appearances starting on the January 1st edition of Raw from Miami, Florida, followed by appearances on the January 8th show in Memphis, Tennessee, then at the Royal Rumble on January 28th. He will be appearing on Raw on February 26h from Anaheim, California. He’s wrestling on a live event in Boston, Massachusetts on March 30th. Of course, he will be defending the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Louisiana, but he is not scheduled or any additional dates at the moment.
Randy Orton has been working with WWE for nearly twenty years, and “The Viper” has won multiple world titles, headlined WrestleMania shows, and has won two Royal Rumble matches. It was recently reported that Orton is scheduled to take time off in early 2018. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Dave Meltzer noted in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Orton is very pleased with his role in the company right now. Orton is thankful that the company has given him so much time off recently and has kept him positioned as a main eventer in the company while also paying him several million dollars per year.
