Backstage Details of When Rousey Likely Agreed to Terms With WWE

It is being said that the contract or agreement WWE had with Ronda Rousey dates back to last summer despite what the company is publicly saying. Rousey even started training back then in anticipation of a Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen storyline that was actually shot at the Mae Young Classic tournament but the company aborted those creative plans.
Rousey’s merchandise is even being sold at live events as early as a few weeks back which is another indication that a deal was in place well before she appeared. Since WWE is promoting her contract signing for Elimination Chamber to help ticket sales, it is a huge possibility that that is the reason they can’t come out and outright say that she has already put pen to paper.
