The Royal Rumble will feature the match with female participants for the first time ever this year. Most of the current main WWE roster have announced that they will be entering the match. Naturally, some fans have wondered whether or not this means if any NXT performers will appear in the match. According to Dave Meltzer, quite a few NXT talents will be appearing in the match. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that there will reportedly be nine different NXT wrestlers in the women’s Royal Rumble match. This means that the likes of Kairi Sane, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, and Ember Moon could all be appearing in the match together.
Most of the female performers on the Smackdown and Raw rosters have declared themselves as entrants in the women’s Royal Rumble match. The champions, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, are obviously staying out of the match, but there a still a few names on the rosters that have not officially entered the match yet. It look like Raw Superstar Dana Brooke could be entering the match this year. She teased entering the match on her Instagram account recently, and it seems likely that she will be included in this year’s historic match. Could Dana Brooke score a major win for Titus Worldwide in the Royal Rumble match? We’ll have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, one woman who will likely not be partaking in the women’s Royal Rumble match is Paige. Although it was initially reported that the injury she suffered a few weeks back was only minor, the injury appears to have been worse than originally feared. It has been reported all week long that Paige will likely be taken out of the match officially very soon, and now the woman herself seemed to indicate that she will not be involved in the match. Paige posted an ominous message on Instagram stating, “The comeback is always stronger than the setback.” As of now, Paige is still listed as an entrant for the match, but expect that to change as the weeks go on.
The comeback is always stronger than the setback ?? @wwe
