Le gouvernement semble décidément avoir bien du mal à se mettre sur la même longueur d’ondes. Interviewé dans l’émission Bourdin Direct ce mardi 17 novembre sur BFMTV, Olivier Véran a contredit les récents propos de Bruno Le Maire selon lesquels les commerces pourraient rouvrir prochainement. Depuis le reconfinement, la fermeture des magasins dits non-essentiels fait particulièrement polémique. Beaucoup accusent le pouvoir de tuer les petits commerçants au profit des grandes surfaces et des géants d’internet.

C’est d’ailleurs pourquoi ils sont aujourd’hui nombreux dans le milieu à plaider pour une réouverture dès le vendredi 27 novembre, avant la date prévue de levée du second confinement le 1er décembre. Cela permettait à tous les commerces de profiter des bénéfices du Black Friday, où les ventes sont généralement très importantes. Mais si le ministre de l’Economie a semblé aller dans ce sens lors de sa dernière interview, son collègue de la Santé est venu doucher l’espoir naissant. “Aujourd’hui, je n’ai pas d’éléments qui me permettent de penser que nous pourrions les rouvrir le 27” a affirmé Olivier Véran à Jean-Jacques Bourdin.

Le ministre de la Santé a bien conscience de la détresse des petits commerçants mais sa principale préoccupation reste de protéger la population face à la seconde vague de coronavirus : “Je souhaite que nous soyons efficaces dans la durée et constants dans les mesures que nous prenons pour freiner le virus. La politique du stop and go ne serait pas bonne pour notre pays”. Olivier Véran refuse donc de donner une date exacte de reprise d’activité, même s’il veut évidemment que “les commerces puissent rouvrir le plus tôt possible”. Cela ne pourra cependant se faire que “dans des conditions sanitaires qui permettent d’assurer la sécurité des Français, au moment où nous aurons déjà suffisamment fait baisser la pression épidémique pour être sûrs que nous ne serions pas obligés de les refermer quelques jours après”. Il ne cédera à aucune pression.

Un discours qui va à l’encontre des propos tenus la veille par Bruno Le Maire, lors de son passage mouvementé dans L’Heure des pros sur CNews ce lundi 16 novembre. Le ministre de l’Economie a de son côté affirmé : “Plus vite on pourra ouvrir, mieux ce sera. On travaille sur un protocole sanitaire pour l’ensemble des commerces et de la grande distribution. Et j’espère qu’il sera adopté par tout le monde. On travaille avec Olivier Véran, avec Elisabeth Borne, tous ensemble. Il doit être conclu vendredi et être opérationnel lundi prochain“. Le locataire de Bercy voit donc une réouverture possible dès le lundi 23 novembre. Couac de communication ou profondes dissensions au sein du gouvernement ? Cet épisode n’est en tout cas pas sans rappeler un autre faux-pas du pouvoir au sujet de la lutte contre le Covid-19.

C’est dans la biographie de l’épouse du prince Charles, The Duchess : Camilla Parker Bowles and the Love Affair that Shook the Crown, que le média espagnol a fait cette découverte. Son auteure, Penny Junor, écrit que Lady Diana se rendait régulièrement à Bolehyde Manor, la maison de campagne des Parker-Bowles, jusqu’en 1980. C’est à cette date que la mère de William et Harry à commencé à fréquenter le prince Charles.

Ayant 14 ans d’écart, Diana voyait en Camilla Parker-Bowles une grande soeur à qui elle pouvait demander des conseils. Il sera alors interdit de publier des images de policiers en pleine intervention si celles-ci ont pour but de “manifestement porter atteinte à son intégrité physique ou psychique”, précise l’entourage du ministre de l’Intérieur.
