“On n’a jamais su exactement pourquoi.

Roma vs Ajax Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The Serie A side hold a 2-1 lead going into this Europa League quarter-final second leg and our tipster is backing more action in the Italian capital

Roma will be looking to book their place in the Europa League semi-finals when they welcome Ajax to Stadio Olimpico on Thursday evening.

Paulo Fonseca’s men fought back from a goal down to win the first leg 2-1 in Amsterdam to give themselves the firm advantage for this clash in Italy.

Roma vs Ajax Latest Odds

Despite that success at the Johan Cruyff Arena last week, bet365 make the Serie A side 9/5 (2.80) outsiders to reach the final four with victory in this one.

Ajax need a victory to stand any chance of progressing and that is priced at 13/10 (2.30), while the online bookmaker goes 7/4 (2.75) that Erik ten Hag’s men qualify.

A draw would be enough for Roma after their win in the first leg and it is 29/10 (3.90) that this match ends all square after 90 minutes.

Roma vs Ajax Team News

Leonardo Spinazzola, Marash Kumbulla and Nicolo Zaniolo are all definitely out while Chris Smalling and Stephan El Shaarawy are doubtful and Bruno Peres is suspended.

Ajax also have several injury concerns with Daley Blind and Maarten Stekelenburg both out, Brian Brobbey unlikely to feature and Devyne Rensch suspended. Sebastian Haller is unavailable after the club failed to register the striker for the competition.

Roma vs Ajax Preview

Roma’s victory in the first leg was a turn up for the books, with that result ending Ajax’s eight-game win streak at home in all competitions while also giving Fonseca’s side their first success in three attempts.

The fact the match ended 2-1 was less of a surprise, with the Italians having now scored 17 times in their last 11 outings while conceding 12, keeping only three clean sheets during that run.

It is a similar story of Ajax’s European exploits this season, with their six Champions League group stage fixtures seeing them score seven but also concede in each of those, while their Europa League form consists of 10 goals for and four against.

Roma vs Ajax Tips and Predictions

Over 3.0, 3.5 goals on the Asian Goal Line is offered at 1.975 with bet365 and looks the best bet for this Europa League clash.

The bet will pay out in full if there are four or more goals, while exactly three will see half the stake returned.

Villarreal vs Dinamo Zagreb Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The first leg of this Europa League quarter-final was a tense affair but our tipster is expecting more action when they meet in Spain on Thursday

Villarreal are hoping to avoid an upset in the quarter-final of the Europa League when they welcome Dinamo Zagreb to Estadio de la Ceramica on Thursday night.

Gerard Moreno’s first half penalty in the first leg secured a narrow 1-0 win for the Yellow Submarine and they are clear favourites to ease into the semi-finals with another victory.

Villarreal vs Dinamo Zagreb Latest Odds

Following that win in Croatia, bet365 make the Spanish side just 4/9 (1.44) to progress with another success on Thursday.

Dinamo need to win to have any chance of continuing their European campaign but are out at 7/1 (8.0) to do that inside 90 minutes.

A draw would be enough for the hosts and that is priced at 16/5 (4.20) with the online bookmaker.

Villarreal vs Dinamo Zagreb Team News

Unai Emery is missing only Vicente Iborra and Pervis Estupinan, while the majority of his strongest XI should be raring to go after most were rested for the 2-1 defeat against Osasuna at the weekend.

Bruno Petkovic played only 30 minutes of the first leg and missed Dinamo’s win on Sunday, so is a doubt for this one.

Villarreal vs Dinamo Zagreb Preview

Villarreal dominated possession in the first leg but it was a game of few real chances, settled only by Moreno’s penalty following a handball by Kevin Theophile-Catherine.

However, the reverse fixture could be a far more exciting affair considering Emery’s men have kept just one clean sheet in their last 10 home matches in all competitions while netting in nine.

Dinamo cannot afford to rest on their laurels and will surely go out with at least some attacking intent as they look to add to their tally of eight goals in five Europa League away games this season.

Villarreal vs Dinamo Zagreb Tips and Predictions

Both teams to score is offered at 6/5 (2.20) with bet365 for this Europa League quarter-final clash, and looks a strong odds-against selection considering it has paid out in eight of Villarreal’s most recent 10 at Estadio de la Ceramica.

Everton vs Tottenham Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>This Premier League fixture is crucial for both teams and our tipster is expecting an open affair when the Toffees host Spurs at Goodison Park

Everton and Tottenham will both be aiming to keep their dwindling Premier League top-four hopes alive when they meet at Goodison Park on Friday night.

Inconsistency has plagued these teams this season, with the Toffees in eighth on 48 points and Spurs on 49 but still six behind West Ham in fourth.

Everton vs Tottenham Latest Odds

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are winless in four Premier League games and are 9/4 (3.25) outsiders with bet365 to end that streak with a vital victory in this one.

Spurs have won only one of their last four in the competition but can be backed at 6/5 (2.20) to keep themselves in Champions League contention by winning on Merseyside.

A draw would not be particularly useful to either side and that result is available at 5/2 (3.50).

Everton vs Tottenham Team News

Jordan Pickford, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Josh King, Andre Gomes and Allan should all be fit for this one after missing Monday’s 0-0 draw at Brighton, but Bernard, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Yerry Mina, Fabian Delph and Abdoulaye Doucoure are out.

Spurs will be without full-backs Ben Davies and Matt Doherty, but otherwise Jose Mourinho has a full squad to pick from.

Everton vs Tottenham Preview

The season is reaching a critical point for both teams and Spurs in particular will be desperate to maintain their Champions League challenge, especially after losing 3-1 at home to Manchester United last week.

That made it eight defeats in the 12 games they have played against their fellow top-eight sides this season, conceding 21 times in those fixtures but also scoring 15 times, and it could be a similar case in this clash.

Indeed, Everton have mustered just five home wins all season and kept two clean sheets in those, but they have at least netted in 11 of their 15 outings at Goodison Park and the return of top scorer Calvert-Lewin after a week out should only aid their attacking cause.

Everton vs Tottenham Tips and Predictions

Both teams to score is offered at 7/10 (1.70) at bet365 and has landed in nine of Everton’s 15 home games this season, as well as in four of the six away matches Spurs have played against top-half teams.

Chelsea vs Manchester City Betting Tips: Jesus to maintain prolific FA Cup form at Wembley

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>Boasting an excellent record in this competition, Al Hain-Cole is backing the Brazilian striker to fire for Guardiola's side in Saturday's semi-final

Having conceded five times to West Bromwich Albion in their last home game in domestic competition, Chelsea will need to redouble their defensive efforts when Manchester City visit Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s FA Cup clash.

The Citizens have won 16 successive matches on the road in all competitions, scoring 42 times on that run and finding the net in each game.

Although often kept on the bench due to Pep Guardiola’s preference for a strikerless formation, Gabriel Jesus has been on target in each of his last two FA Cup outings.

The Brazil international has actually scored nine time in 15 FA Cup games and looks a strong 5/1 (6.00) bet to open the scoring here, as well as 8/5 (2.60) to strike anytime

On the scoresheet in each of his last three games against the Blues, Kevin De Bruyne is also a tempting proposition at 7/4 (2.75) anytime.

Phil Foden will be in confident spirits after striking in both legs of the Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund and can be backed at 21/10 (3.10) to mark another high-profile tie with a goal.

Thomas Tuchel has taken a leaf out of his opposite number’s book recently by overlooking his regular strikers in favour of starting Kai Havertz up front.

Despite his two-goal starring role in last weekend’s 4-1 victory against Crystal Palace, the German is an 11/1 (12.00) outside bet to open the scoring here and on offer at generous 15/4 (4.75) anytime odds.

In excellent form over the last few weeks with three goals to his name in six appearances for club and country, Mason Mount is a potentially lucrative 4/1 (5.00) anytime bet.

Similarly, Christian Pulisic has looked almost back to his best following a spate of injuries, scoring four goals in five matches for Chelsea and the USA.

Having opened the scoring in last year’s home win over City, he can be backed at 3/1 (4.00) to extend that run with another big goal here.
