Daniel Auteuil : Quand son fils et son petit-fils sont nés la même année…

Dans la pièce qu’il met en scène, Le Malade imaginaire, Daniel Auteuil a le plaisir de travailler avec sa fille. Dans ce classique de Molière, Aurore Auteuil interprète Toinette, la servante d’Argan, lui-même joué par son père. C’est la première fois que le duo collabore véritablement et ce temps passé tous les deux est inestimable. Dans les magazines Gala et VSD, on en apprend un peu plus sur le lien qui les unit.

Aurore Auteuil, fille de Daniel et d’Anne Jousset, a suivi une carrière de comédienne comme son papa mais elle a choisi le théâtre. C’est sur les planches qu’ils se retrouvent pour la première fois ensemble – si on exclut une petite apparition dans 36, quai des Orfèvres – un écho touchant à l’époque où, vers 8 ou 9 ans, elle faisait réciter son père des textes de Molière, déjà. Depuis toujours, le travail de son père a fait partie du quotidien de la jeune femme : “C’était notre vie“, raconte-t-elle dans Gala. Quand Aurore naît en 1981, la carrière de Daniel Auteuil marche de mieux en mieux et il enchaînera par la suite les films. C’est elle qui réagit quand on lui demande, dans Gala, s’il n’est pas passé à côté de son enfance : “Absolument pas. Il a toujours été là. Il s’est toujours extrêmement bien occupé de moi. C’était un papa-maman. (…) Qui changeait les couches, etc. Il a toujours été présent pour chacune des étapes qui structurent un enfant.” Ce à quoi Daniel Auteuil, qui a fait partager sa passion pour ce métier à ses enfants en les emmenant en répétition ou en tournage, ajoute : “Je n’ai pas l’impression en effet d’avoir été moins présent que le parent qui part travailler le matin et le soir.”

C’est juste la vie qui arrive. C’est formidable.

Avec le temps, Daniel et Aurore Auteuil ont moins le temps de se voir, mais cela ne les empêche pas d’être aussi proches qu’à l’époque où la jolie blonde était enfant. “Mais entre-temps, elle est devenue une femme, une maman, elle a eu deux enfants, moi j’ai un petit garçon, du coup, quand on se voit, c’est dans un cadre familial, avec les plaisirs et les soucis qui vont avec. Là, on est dans un état de jeu, de légèreté“, dit Daniel Auteuil à Gala. Mais quand on l’interroge sur le fait que son plus jeune fils, Zachary, est né en 2009, la même année que la fille aînée d’Aurore Auteuil, la star de cinéma ne s’étend pas sur le sujet : “C’est juste la vie qui arrive. C’est formidable.

Les déclarations pleines de tendresse sont également à lire dans VSD. Daniel Auteuil s’y félicite du travail accompli par sa fille : “Cette petite fille que j’ai eue, qui a grandi pour devenir une jeune femme et qui a eu des enfants. La légèreté des échanges qu’on avait a progressivement disparu. Grâce au théâtre, elle m’a écouté alors qu’elle ne m’écoutait plus ! Physiquement, on ne s’était pas perdus, mais on a regagné la légèreté qui nous faisait défaut à tous les deux. C’est un miracle de retrouver en nous cette part d’enfance.”
