WWE has announced that The Revival will be defending their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships on next week’s show following Crown Jewel.
Despite the fact they lost on tonight’s show against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, it is Thew New Day who will be getting the opportunity for the titles next week.
The Revival will put their titles on the line against Kofi Kingston and Big E, who will be teaming up for the foreseeable future due to Xavier Woods’ recent injury.
It wasn’t announced whether or not Roode and Ziggler will be added to the Tag Team Championship match, but that is a possibility due to Ziggler pinning Kofi during their tag match tonight.

Jordan Myles took to instagram to address his comments about WWE and professional wrestling at large. Myles apologizes for “not giving a shit about what others think of me,” and goes on to explain the motivation behind his indignation at the racism and prejudice that he’s experienced in WWE and elsewhere.
For those new to the situation, WWE released a shirt design for Jordan Myles that closely resembled racist Sambo Dolls from the past. The shirt depicted Jordan’s name as a red smile and white lips, on a black background. Myles shared his frustration with the merchandise, and even shared an email in which decision makers said they wanted the white letters to more closely resemble teeth.
Here is the statement in full:
My tweets yesterday were completely disrespectful and were unprofessional.
I have offend a ton of people and used anger to fuel me. With that being said.. I’d like to take this time to state an apologize for not giving a shit about what others think of me. The anger I have inside of me has been built up for years now. Call me what you want, but you’ll never EVER be able to call me fake. I’ve been lied too, used, and often mistreated by others who I viewed as associates. I’ve tipped toe around, kept quiet, even took some Ls when necessary. Emotionally charged up due to the shirt which triggered past emotions. I’m never going to be sorry for being me nor will I take back my words. I’m the damn professional wrestler in the WORLD & universe today. My ribs are touching and I’m tired of waiting. Time to snatch plates from those that have been eating far too long and always gets seconds while guys like myself have to eat crumbs from the floor like an unwanted child. For 4 years .. I gave my all to a promotion only to find out that you could only reach so high just as long as you didn’t surpass certain “people”.. I never begged for anything, I never kissed no ass, nor did rub elbows with the right ppl to get ahead. I HUSTTLED, WORKED HARD. I didn’t call Hunter everyday to get booked in New Japan (s/o to NJPW) I earned it. I’ve always wanted to be “The Guy” and of no one will allow me to be in that spot.. I shall blaze my own trail to that spot rather it be by the approval of others or not. Today i shall continue to go the distance. Today I shall Lee moving forward. Today I shall rise up from my past ashes like a Dark Phoenix and promote change in this industry. Remember these words I AM THE BEST IN THE WORLD! AND NO MAN OR WOMAN WILL STOP ME FROM BEING HONEST. GO THE DISTANCE… #MylesAhead

After the triple threat match was confirmed for WWE Survivor Series between the three women’s champions, Bayley has sent a warning to her opponents.
Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch confronted each other during WWE Raw and while they stated they would “keep an eye on Bayley,” the two women made it clear they were more focused on each other.
Bayley saw the clip and responded on social media, reminding them all that she is the only one who has held all three titles, telling them she will see them at WWE Survivor Series…or sooner.
Sooo…you both are just gonna “keep an eye on Bayley”?
Just remember that I am the only one in this match who has held all 3 titles on all 3 brands.
See you at #SurvivorSeries.
…or sooner. https://t.co/hscmct5wWi

WWE Friday Night Smackdown commentator Corey Graves is back with another episode of his weekly podcast After The Bell, and has a few ideas for how to turn the annual Survivor Series pay-per-view around.
Graves argues that the event, which has taken place every November since 1987, has become too fixated on the idea of “brand supremacy”. This year’s show will once again see the Raw and Smackdown rosters go to battle, but with the addition of Superstars from the NXT brand for the first time.
Here’s what Graves had to say:
“I enjoy Survivor Series. I harken back to the days when it was rivalry-based. Where you had two guys that had an issue, that were forced to assemble a team, and those two teams would do battle as a chapter in the rivalry. Sometimes it got solved, sometimes it didn’t, but it wasn’t about the brands. I understand the ‘Battle for Brand Supremacy’ – Raw vs. Smackdown vs. NXT. My question is this: does anybody in the WWE Universe really identify with a particular brand? I get that NXT has a bit more of a niche audience, but to me the whole ‘Brand Supremacy’ thing doesn’t seem to matter to anyone outside the doors of WWE. That’s not to say we can’t fix that. We just need some stakes!”
…
“Here’s my pitch. How about whichever brand wins the most matches at Survivor Series, you reward them with something? Maybe the 30th spot in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. Maybe you reward Raw or Smackdown, or even NXT – whoever wins at Survivor Series gets the main-event spot at WrestleMania. Give the WWE Universe a reason to be excited for the entire PPV. Yes you’re going to get incredible action, but put some stakes on the night as a whole. That way one brand walks away, not only with ‘bragging rights’, which is about the only thing we can really give for why these guys are trying to fight each other, but something tangible to look forward to in the future.”

Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo were feeling very satisfied with the way that Saturday’s sprint qualifying at Silverstone had gone for McLaren.
Both drivers gained a position on their Friday qualifying results and will start from fifth and sixth in tomorrow’s British Grand Prix, locking out the third row of the grid for the team.
“I think we achieved everything we could’ve hoped for today,” said Norris, who benefitted from Sergio Perez suddenly going off the track at Becketts as the pair fought for position on lap 5.

“[The Red Bull] is a quicker car, but we managed to beat them off the start and over the first lap, so it was a fun first-half,” reported Norris.
The young Brit did lose out early on to Fernando Alonso after the Alpine driver elected to start the race on the quicker soft compound tyres, but he was able to recover the position midway through the race.
“We knew we had better pace than Fernando. He also did a good job but I knew I’d be able to get him back,” said Norris.
However by then he was too far behind the top four to be able to make any further gains. “At the end, it was a quiet finish in clear air on my own,” he explained.
Ricciardo was also able to overtake Alonso as the soft tyres went off in the second half of the race.
“Alonso having a good start made our race a bit more exciting, so I enjoyed it!” said the Australian.
“The first ten laps were busy, I thought that was cool, so I hope the fans liked it,” he added. “That was quite good fun, it’s obviously over pretty quickly.”
“I gained a position and start in a better place tomorrow than I started,” he continued. “That was the aim for today, so I’m looking forward to going out and fighting for more tomorrow.”
The main focus for Ricciardo remains the team’s constructors championship battle with Ferrari and its drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
“From what I understand, I think Charles was a little quicker and I saw that Carlos got put out and came through the field,” Ricciardo said. “I would say we’ve still got a little bit of work to do if we want to get in the Ferrari fight.

“But I think we were decent relative to the others and started seventh today, start sixth tomorrow, so it’s a little victory and yes, I’ll try and aim for a top five tomorrow.
“Apparently, I haven’t got one this year, top five, so I think sixth is my best result. That’s kind of sad. I’ll try and break through the top five.”
Norris added that the sprint qualifying race had provided the team with further useful information for tomorrow’s Grand Prix.
“I think we now have a good reading on where we stand compared to the other teams, so we know what we need to try to do tomorrow,” he said.
“Frustrating that we were so far off on pace comparing to the other three teams – Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull.
“But we still beat one Ferrari, we still beat one Red Bull, so we did the best we could and we beat cars which were quicker than us today so I’m happy with that.
“I hope the fans enjoyed the new format and it brought something different to the weekend. Let’s hope for the same again tomorrow.”
“It’s been an interesting weekend so far,” commented technical director James Key. “The new format certainly adds new elements and a different approach to what we’ve been used to.
“Being able to push the car for 17 laps flat this afternoon certainly generated a lot of close racing and I think it worked well.
“It’s great to see so many fans here at Silverstone,” he added. “Always a strong point of this race – and we look forward to seeing the same again tomorrow.”

Hakim Ziyech scored a second-half hat-trick as a strong Chelsea side dismantled Peterborough in a pre-season friendly this afternoon.
The game took place at Chelsea’s Cobham training base as the Blues ran out 6-1 winners with goals from Ziyech, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, and Armando Broja.
Much like the majority of pre-season friendlies, there were plenty of substitutions and fringe players involved, such as Danny Drinkwater and Baba Rahman.
F365 Says: Varane alone can’t prompt Solskjaer to go balls-out
Ziyech made the most of his 45 minutes of action by scoring three goals, which will hopefully help him kick on after a difficult debut season in England.
The 28-year-old moved from Ajax to Chelsea for £36 million last summer and missed the first four Premier League matches through injury.
The attacking midfielder came to Stamford Bridge after scoring an impressive 79 and assisting 97 goals in 216 Eredivisie fixtures.
Injuries were a constant theme of his first season at the club, limiting him to only 23 league appearances.
Fitness was a clear issue for the Moroccan as he completed 90 minutes on only one occasion in all competitions last term across 39 appearances.
Ziyech was a constant feature in the FA Cup, however, as his team reached the final, only to lose 1-0 to Leicester City.
Across his 39 appearances, the ex-Ajax man only managed six goals and four assists.
Chelsea fans will be hoping that he can stay injury-free in his second season at the club, and albeit against Championship opposition, he has shown exactly what he is capable of when healthy.
After a year of being able to adapt to life in England, Ziyech will hope that Thomas Tuchel gives him the opportunity to impress and replicate his excellent Ajax form.
There were rumours last month that Tuchel and Ziyech’s relationship had ‘collapsed’ but there have been no solid rumours of the Moroccan being surplus to requirements.

However, Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) said that Ziyech is now ‘officially on the transfer list’ and credited AC Milan with interest in the former FC Twente man.
Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is understood to ‘like’ the Chelsea player with the Serie A side confirming the signing of Olivier Giroud from the Blues earlier today.
Alex Telles wants to pay back the fans for their belief in him amid rumours Man Utd have rejected Roma’s interest in taking him on loan.
The Brazilian joined the Premier League outfit from Porto in October 2020, but has only managed 9 Premier League appearances since then.
Shaw looked back at his best this season, earning the Man Utd Players’ Player of the Year award and keeping Telles out of the side.
Biggest season for Man Utd in a decade? And other mails…
One of the main reasons that Telles was brought in by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was due to his fantastic record of goals and assists at his former club Porto.
The full-back scored an exceptional 21 goals in just 129 league games in Portugal, but hasn’t managed to register a single league goal since his move to Old Trafford.
A report on Wednesday claimed that Roma were ‘in talks’ with Man Utd over a possible move for Telles with Jose Mourinho interested in the left-back.
However, Sky Sport Italia (via Forza Roma) claim ‘there is no room for negotiation’ if the Italian club want to loan Telles as the Red Devils will only discuss a permanent move.
And today Telles has thanked Man Utd fans for their belief in him and insisted he wants to show them what he can do next season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“I’m really happy to be back here,” Telles told United Daily. “It’s a pleasure to be at Manchester United coming into my second season.
“Last season, we came really close to winning trophies, so we go into this next season with a lot of desire and I really want to show my work and my value here at the club.
“I’m really looking forward to the game, I’m going into the game with a lot of desire. I think it’s a really great opportunity for us players who have been here for the last two weeks.
“It’s going to be a tough test but we’re really well prepared for it. We’ve been working really hard in training today, and this last week, and I believe it’s an opportunity to show my value my quality and my potential here at Manchester United.
“I know Manchester United Football Club and the fans really believe in me.”

The Germany Olympics football team have walked off the pitch in a friendly match against Honduras after Jordan Torunarigha was ‘racially abused’.
The score was level at 1-1 before the incident took place, with the German players walking off with five minutes remaining.
The team decided to walk off the pitch following the abuse directed at Torunarigha, a 23-year-old defender for Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
The irrefutable proof that Pogba, Lacazette are staying
Posting on Twitter, the Germany national team said: “The game has ended 5 minutes early with the score at 1-1.
“The Germany players left the pitch after Jordan Torunarigha was racially abused.”
Who committed the alleged racism is yet to be confirmed, with journalist Ronan Murphy saying it was a Honduran player.
The German’s go into the Olympics as one of the favourites to win the gold medal.
Coach Stefan Kuntz included seven players who won the U21 European Championships in June.
Max Kruse, Maximilian Arnold and Nadiem Amiri were selected as the three players aged over 23 in the squad.
Unfortunately, racism is still extremely prominent in the world of football, both on the pitch and off it.
This incident comes shortly after Jadon Sancho and his England team-mates Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka were targeted online after missing from the spot in the penalty shootout which finished their side’s hopes of winning Euro 2020.
Sancho, who apologised for his role in a disappointing conclusion to a dramatic contest, admitted he was not surprised by what followed, but is adamant those responsible cannot be allowed to get away with it.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Sancho said: “I’m not going to pretend that I didn’t see the racial abuse that me and my brothers Marcus and Bukayo received after the game, but sadly it’s nothing new. As a society we need to do better, and hold these people accountable.
“Hate will never win. To all the young people who have received similar abuse, hold your heads up high and keep chasing the dream.”
England, who had seen Luke Shaw’s early goal cancelled out by Leonardo Bonucci during normal time, eventually lost 3-2 on penalties despite keeper Jordan Pickford heroically saving two Italian spot-kicks.
