WWE NXT General Manager, William Regal has announced a future North American Championship match for the October 23 edition of the show.
After having a war of words in recent week’s, it has been announced that former champion, the Velveteen Dream will get a title rematch against Roderick Strong on the show.

ROMAN REIGNS vs SETH ROLLINS
The two men share respect early on with a fist bump but instantly get down to action with Roman Reigns showing his strength domination as he takes down the Universal Champion. Seth Rollins attempts to take the pace up a notch but as he goes for a suicide dive he is caught with a forearm by Roman.
As we return from an early commercial it is Seth Rollins in charge of proceedings as he hits a kick to the midsection but a she goes for the Stomp Roman reverses with a roll-up which he turns into a powerbomb, but Seth kicks out.
Reigns goes for a Superman Punch, but Seth reverses and the hits two suicide dives in a row to the Big Dog as he springboards and catches Roman with the knee. Rollins then hits a frog splash but the Big Dog kicks out at two. Rollins once again goes for the Stomp put Reigns hits an uppercut as Rollins responds with a superkick and then a buckle bomb.
However, Roman reverses that with a Superman Punch, but Seth kicks out! Roman then attempts a Spear but Seth reverses with a modified Pedigree but the Big Dog kicks out! LIGHTS OUT!!
The Fiend is here, through the ring as he puts Rollins in the Mandible Claw and drags Rollins down underneath the ring with him. Seth eventually fights his way out, clutching throat, all the while Wyatt creepily watches from under the ring.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
We are then shown the FOX and USA Network ‘war rooms’ as different executives work out who they want to draft. It is announced that Seth Rollins got a DQ win in the opening match and Raw has the first pick in the draft.

WWE Superstar Lana (real name CJ Perry) has announced that she has signed a “multi-million dollar” deal with WWE. The superstar has been with WWE in some capacity since 2013, first as a manager, and now as an in-ring competitor.
After announcing her new deal, Lana said “congratulations,” assumedly to herself.

Manchester United’s Luke Shaw could miss the start of the season after it was revealed that he sustained broken ribs during England’s round of 16 Euro 2020 win against Germany.
The left-back was one of the best players of the tournament, providing three assists and scoring once in six appearances for the Three Lions.
Shaw suffered the injury against Germany in the first knockout round, meaning he played through three full matches with the injury.

The ex-Southampton man will now potentially be out for the start of United‘s season and isn’t due to return to training for another week.
A Telegraph report states that his club asked him to end his participation at the Euros after they discovered he had suffered an injury.
However, Shaw decided to play on for Gareth Southgate’s team and excelled in their victories against Ukraine and Denmark before scoring in England’s loss to Italy in the final.
The left-back is currently on holiday and is unlikely to be assessed by the Red Devils until he returns later this month.

Shaw has improved greatly over the last 12 months, regaining fitness and performing at an elite level for United to help him pip Ben Chilwell as Southgate’s first-choice left-back.
He made 47 appearances across all competitions for Ole Gunner Solskjaer, contributing towards seven goals.
Shaw’s main competitor for the left-back spot at United, Alex Telles, has reportedly gained interest from Inter Milan.
Telles made the switch to Old Trafford from Porto last summer for around £15.4million.
There had been reports that Jose Mourinho had made an offer to bring Telles to Roma this summer after Italy’s Leonardo Spinazzola ruptured his Achilles at Euro 2020.
However, Sky Sport Italia claimed yesterday that Man Utd had turned down their loan approach for Telles as the Red Devils only want to discuss a permanent move.
And now Inter Milan are ready to test the water after Calciomercato claims a deal ‘takes shape more and more’ for Telles ‘in the last few hours’.
They describe Telles as being ‘probed by’ Roma too with Man Utd looking for ‘a similar amount’ to the £15.4m they paid Porto if they’re to accept a transfer offer.
Tottenham and Arsenal have both expressed their interest in signing Neto from Barcelona, with the goalkeeper reportedly “desperate” to join the Gunners.
Neto wants to leave the Catalan club due to his lack of playing time, which he doesn’t get under Ronald Koeman due to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
It is believed by Mundo Deportivo that Arsenal are looking to sign the 32-year-old this summer, who they also tried to sign in January.
England can be proud of summer spent crushing hate with love
Spurs have joined the race to sign the Brazilian, but are also eyeing up a move for Atalanta shot-stopper Pierluigi Gollini.
However, their interest may be shrugged off by the Barca man who is apparently “desperate” for a move to the Emirates.
The Spanish giants paid over £23million for Neto in 2019, but he has only made 17 appearances for the club.
Barcelona put the ‘keeper on the transfer list recently, and selling him could make perfect sense as they look to raise funds this summer.
Much has been made of the club’s financial situation, which put the future of star player Lionel Messi under threat.
As Neto is looking for regular playing time, a move to either north London club does not make a lot of sense.
He would be competing with club captain Hugo Lloris at Spurs, and Bernd Leno at Arsenal.
The Gunners also don’t have any European football for the upcoming season, so his game time will likely be limited under Mikel Arteta.
Also, reports in January suggested Neto would only join Arsenal if he were guaranteed a shot at Leno’s starting spot.
Arteta has stuck with Leno throughout his tenure, but the German did himself no favours with a shocking error in last season’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.
Bringing an experienced keeper like Neto to the club may help to improve Leno’s performances.
The Reds also looked at signing Mat Ryan on a permanent basis after spending the second half of last term on loan at the club, although he’s now returned to Spain by signing for Real Sociedad.

Furthermore, Alex Runarrson could leave the Emirates on loan this summer after a troublesome debut season in England.
Jurgen Klopp is very excited about the current crop of Liverpool youngsters coming through from the Premier League club’s academy.
The German – who has so far added Ibrahima Konate to his squad in the transfer window – has taken 36 players on the Reds’ month-long camp in Austria with some of club’s best young players joining the first team on the trip.
Most of Klopp’s international players won’t be joining the group until early August, giving him an opportunity to have a good look at the academy talent at his disposal.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “They are really, really exciting, I have to say. All of them – there’s not one in where I say, ‘Oh’.

The Liverpool boss added: “I told them in the first days, just don’t hold anything back because that’s really a waste of time.

When asked what has pleased him so far from the trip to Austria, he continued: “I’m the observer of all these things, I watch all these things and I have so many highlights, little things.
“But it’s difficult for me to mention them because it always puts a story out for a boy here or there and then you are in the middle of interest all of a sudden just because I said something. So let’s give it a bit of time.
“I’ve had a lot of highlights in training, saw a lot of good football and surprisingly good football from some players – because I didn’t know them that well. Really full of courage and bravery from the young kids.
“The more settled players, let me say it like this, they had a long holiday and you can really see they missed football a lot. All this together is a really good sign so far. But it is six days and in six days a lot can happen, in all directions; this time it was really good.
“We are in a much better position than we were a week ago, and you can’t always say that during a pre-season because sometimes so many things happen and you think, ‘Oh my God, why did we start in the first place?!’
“That’s really, really nice so far. I’m just looking forward to it. Today is now a day off obviously because the boys need that, the whole camp is a proper challenge for all of us because we are quite long together. We have to see how we deal with that, but so far it was perfect.”
Paris Saint-Germain will have to sell some players this summer before they can seal a deal for Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba, according to reports.
Pogba only has 12 months left on his deal at Man Utd with speculation French giants PSG could be interested in him.
The Red Devils are currently trying to tie Pogba down to fresh terms but there are constant rumours he could leave the club this summer.

However, one report earlier this month claimed the Man Utd board of directors are ‘split’ over what to do about Pogba, with the midfielder demanding £400,000-a-week in wages.
They are split down the middle, with half wanting a new contract for the influential star and the other half keen to engineer an exit, amid interest from PSG.
PSG have already brought in Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma on free transfers this summer, while Achraf Hakimi has joined from Inter Milan for €60m.
L’Equipe (via Get French Football News) claims that PSG ‘need to sell a sizeable chunk of their squad if they want to finance further signings’.
PSG need to recoup €180m in fees for as they look to cut their squad from 40 to 25 to please ‘France’s famously strict financial watchdog the DNCG’.
The Ligue club now ‘rely on sporting director Leonardo’s ability to sell players quickly and efficiently’ if they are to secure a deal for Pogba, with the report adding that Pogba will be available for €50m.
L’Equipe claim that former Man Utd midfielder Ander Herrera is among those PSG are looking to sell, while sales of Sergio Rico, Alphonse Areola, Rafinha, Layvin Kurzawa, Thilo Kehrer and Pablo Sarabia could all ‘help pay’ for Pogba.
Meanwhile, Pogba recently admitted that he is allowed to play with more “freedom” for France than at club level with Man Utd.
Pogba told L’Equipe: “It’s true that at Juve it was different from Manchester United.
“We were already playing with three midfielders [at Juve], in 5-3-2. I had the freedom, I had to be in the box, to attack. It was an obligation. In Manchester, I have the freedom to go into the box, but the priority is to play and defend.”

When asked about what it’s like playing for France, Pogba added: “We play in 4-2-3-1, also a diamond. I am a little more in the transmission, in the construction. But I have more freedom than in Manchester to enter the box, to make runs forwards.
“At the same time, when you have Griezmann, Kylian, you don’t want to enter their spaces, you don’t need to.”
Pogba said he would like to play more offensively for Man Utd but stressed the importance of the team over any individual.
The France midfielder continued: “…I would like to play more offensive [laughs]. To score fifteen goals per season is what I would like.
“But Patrick said it, we must put ourselves at the service of the collective. In Manchester, as in blue, the collective will always come before the player.”
During a recent interview with Sport Bible, WWE United Kingdom Champion, WALTER, revealed he would like to face Brock Lesnar.
The dominant NXT UK Superstar gave plenty of praise to the Beast, claiming that he is the smartest professional wrestler around right now.
“For sure, I think right now there’s no smarter professional wrestlers than Brock Lesnar at the moment. I’m aware of the negative reactions he gets by the fans, but if I ever end up in that position in my career, I would be very thankful [laughs].”

WWE announcer Cathy Kelley was joined by an extremely special guest this week – none other than Academy Award-winning actor Brad Pitt, who sat down to talk about his upcoming film Ad Astra, which hits theaters this weekend.
Ad Astra is a scifi drama that sees Pitt tackle the role of astronaut Roy McBride, who ventures into the unforgiving emptiness of space “to uncover the truth about his missing father”, played by the incredible Tommy Lee Jones.
The film was directed by James Gray (The Lost City of Z) based on a screenplay from Gray and Ethan Gross (Klepto) and, as noted, opens in theaters today. Check out the interview with Brad Pitt below where he discusses the film, and the possibility of getting into a WWE ring in the future.
