Click Here: camiseta rosario central

Watford demand club-record fee from Liverpool for winger

Watford have told Liverpool they must stump up at least £40m to take Ismaila Sarr to Anfield this summer, according to reports.

Last week the Watford Observer claimed that the Reds were one of a number of clubs keen on the 22-year-old, while they added that Sarr’s respect for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane could prove to be a big lure.

“Mane is not only a Senegal team-mate of mine but he is my inspiration and idol,” Sarr said previously.

“It will be perfect for me to play against him again. For me he is the best player in the world. For sure, the best African player in Europe.

“He’s our national team leader but he’s also a nice guy and I love him.”

And now the Evening Standard claims that the Hornets ‘are ready to demand a club-record fee of over £40million for’ Sarr with Liverpool one of the main interested parties.

The Senegal international has been scouted by clubs from Spain and Germany, while Crystal Palace and Wolves are also credited with interest.

Watford will not let Sarr go on the cheap this summer and they ‘will demand a fee in excess of the record £40m Everton paid for Richarlison in 2018’.

The Premier League side forked out a sizeable £30m to bring Sarr to England from French club Rennes last summer and his performances this season have only increased his value.

With four years left on his contract at Vicarage Road, the Hornets are in a good position to negotiate a high sum despite relegation from the Premier League.

‘Liverpool are emerging as frontrunners to sign Sarr’ with the winger fitting ‘the profile of player Jurgen Klopp is after’ this summer.

The Evening Standard adds that Sarr ‘would be keen on a move to Liverpool’ with a transfer to Anfield proving ‘particularly attractive given it would allow him to play alongside his hero’, Mane.

Man Utd ready to ‘offer good money’ to bring in Real winger

Man Utd are chasing the signing of Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior with Jadon Sancho now unlikely to move to Old Trafford this summer, according to reports.

Vinicius is one of Madrid’s most prized assets, having joined the club as a teenager in 2018. The La Liga giants paid Flamengo €46m for him in the same summer they sold Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Madrid have had to be patient with Vinicius. He is yet to reach 10 league goals, despite making nearly 50 appearances in the Spanish top flight.

Nonetheless, they still value him highly, so much so that he even has a €700m release clause in his contract.

And now Defensa Central (via Sport Witness) claims that Man Utd are looking at Vinicius as a possible alternative to Sancho, who may have to put in a transfer request to leave Dortmund.

The report says that ‘sources close to the white team’ claim that the Red Devils have ‘asked’ about the Brazilian with Man Utd prepared to ‘offer good money’ for the 20-year-old.

But Vinicius would rather fight for his place in Zinedine Zidane’s team with the report adding that he has ‘completely refused’ Man Utd.

Added to that, Zidane is a fan of the ‘good impression’ Vinicius has made this campaign and ‘does not value’ offers for his player.

Nuno hints at Wolves transfer business after citing ‘small squad’

Nuno Espirito Santo hinted transfer reinforcements could be on the horizon after lamenting his “small squad” following Wolves’ defeat to Sevilla.

The prospect of an all-English tie with Man Utd loomed, but Wolves failed to defeat Europa League specialists Sevilla.

A Raul Jimenez penalty miss proved costly, though subsequent replays showed Wolves had cause for complaint.

The Sevilla goalkeeper had left his line before the kick was taken, while multiple defenders encroached into the area, including the player who would ultimately clear the rebound.

Neither were picked up by VAR, and Wolves were eliminated late on after a last-gasp Lucas Ocampos header

Speaking to BT Sport regarding his side’s valiant effort, Nuno Espirito Santo said: “We have frustration, in the last minutes it is something that has happened to us many times. We required focus on a set piece.

“I am proud of the boys, we played a tough team and we had moments, small details, small margins.

“That happens in football. We came this far and now it’s over. Let’s rest and look to the future. We need more players to help us, it’s a small squad.

“Sevilla made us run, we made a big effort to control it but of course there were players who gave everything and the legs and brain doesn’t work so good.

“We must be proud of ourselves, admit we made mistakes during the season that we need to rectify to compete at a high level. We must work harder and become stronger.

“We are here because we did things good the previous season. European football is something that we chase because we want to improve and compete against the best.

“The Premier League is challenging enough, it’s like playing the Champions League every week.”
