– les femmes capables d’être enceintes à un âge avancé auraient un endomètre d’excellente “qualité“ ou auraient moins de cycles menstruels sans ovulation ;
– une exposition prolongée à la

progestérone au cours de la grossesse serait particulièrement bénéfique à un âge avancé, au moment où le cancer de l’endomètre se développe ;

Neville: Man Utd don’t need to spend £20m on Ighalo

Gary Neville doesn’t believe Odion Ighalo is worth £20million in the current market as Man Utd weigh up whether to make a permanent move for the striker.

Ighalo made his shock deadline-day switch from Shanghai Shenhua in January and the ex-Watford striker has impressed the Old Trafford faithful.

The 30-year-old has scored four goals in three starts for the club he has supported since childhood but adding to his eight appearances has been complicated by the coronavirus crisis.

MAILBOX: Why we should hope playing behind closed doors is a failure…

The Premier League has been suspended since March 13 – the day after he netted a stunning goal at LASK in the Europa League – and play is unlikely to resume until mid-June at the earliest.

Ighalo’s loan deal expires on May 31 and, despite their attacking injury issues easing, Man Utd are understood to be open to extending his Old Trafford stint.

On the completion of his temporary move there has been speculation that Man Utd could sign him permanently with a figure of between £15m and £20m talked about.

Neville said on Instagram Live: “Is Ighalo worth £20m? Probably not in this market. He may have been if he continued scoring goals but you probably don’t need now to spend £20m.”

In March, Ighalo refused to talk about the possibility of a loan extension, he said: “Talking about other things now will not only be selfish but terribly insensitive. I don’t even think about it.

“The challenge before us now is not a football one, but a global one.

“You can’t put football before health challenges. What matters right now is to keep safe and pray for those battling with the virus to recover fully.

“This is another reminder for us to share love in this world. Continue to show kindness to one another because a problem facing one is a problem to all.”

Man Utd ‘serious’ over £26m Juve man with agent ‘at work’ over transfer

Man Utd have been in contact with Adrien Rabiot’s representatives over a possible move from Juventus to Old Trafford, according to reports in Italy.

The Frenchman, who only joined the club in the summer, has started just 11 matches in Serie A and 16 in all competitions this campaign.

Rabiot was frequently linked with a move to the Premier League while at Paris Saint-Germain, though opted to join Juventus on a free transfer.

GOSSIP: Man City want ‘incredible’ £43.7m Liverpool target

Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is overloaded in central midfield, favouring the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Rodrigo Bentancur and Blaise Matuidi and there could be a possibility he is deemed surplus to requirements this summer.

Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) claims that there have been ‘continuous contacts held in recent weeks with’ Premier League clubs Man Utd and Everton.

The Red Devils are ‘serious’ about signing Rabiot and the Frenchman’s agent is ‘at work’ trying to seal a move to the Premier League.

The report adds that he would be available for ‘between 25 and 30 million’ euros (£22m-£26m) but the ‘formula [is] still to be defined’.

Meaning that Rabiot could be used as part of a deal to sign Paul Pogba – a long-term target for Juventus – or Man Utd could sign him in a standalone transfer.

Liverpool plan to offer Mane ‘blockbuster’ new deal to ward off Real

Liverpool could hand Sadio Mane a new contract at Anfield to keep him out the clutches of Real Madrid, according to reports.

Mane, who moved to Anfield in the summer of 2016, has become irreplaceable in Jurgen Klopp‘s team having scored 77 goals in 161 appearances for the Reds.

Indeed, his stock has risen immensely in the past two seasons, when he has helped fire Liverpool to Champions League glory and come up with several match-winning contributions.

GOSSIP: Liverpool bid ‘aggressively’ for £43m Brazilian; Klopp eyes shock move

Such performances have reportedly led to interest from Real Madrid, who have been uninspiring in their efforts to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, according to Football Insider, Liverpool are weighing up ending any further interest in Senegal international Mane by handing him a ‘blockbuster new contract’.

The winger’s current terms – extended in November 2018 – expire in the summer of 2023, by which point Mane would have turned 31.

Therefore, it is said that Liverpool believe another extension will put paid to Madrid’s hopes of landing the player on a big-money move.

Madrid signed Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard last summer but both have been blighted with injuries, with former Chelsea man Hazard suffering two ankle problems.

Jovic has also struggled and Madrid announced recently that the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker has injured his foot amid the shutdown of football across Europe.

Mane, meanwhile, has been a virtual ever-present for Liverpool and has only missed two games all season due to a slight hamstring injury.

Giggs names four Man Utd players that never got Fergie’s hairdryer

Ryan Giggs has revealed the only four players that avoided Sir Alex Ferguson’s infamous hairdryer treatment at Man Utd.

The 74-year-old oversaw an unrivalled period of domination at Man Utd where he led the club to 38 trophies, including two Champions League titles, before finally calling time on his reign in 2013.

Ferguson had a reputation for delivering verbal volleys at his players so intense it earned the nickname the ‘hairdryer’, with Wayne Rooney saying in his book that it was an experience which there was “nothing worse” than.

FEATURE: Premier League XIs: 2002/03 and remembering the name…

“There were three or four players that he never had a go at,” Giggs told beIN SPORTS‘s The Champions Club.

“[Eric] Cantona was one – Bryan Robson, Roy Keane and Cristiano Ronaldo. They were all in their own ways matchwinners.

“They did the stuff on the pitch, so he never felt [like he had to].”

Giggs added: “Eric, there were some games where Eric didn’t do anything.

“He didn’t score, he wasn’t running about like a Tevez or a Wayne Rooney, he didn’t have any impact. But he knew sooner or later he would come good.

“We would be sat in the dressing room thinking ‘he’s got to have a go at him, he’s got to have a pop at him because he didn’t do anything today.’

“But the next week he’d score the winner or he would produce a moment of magic, so he handled the big names really well as long as they were doing it on the pitch, he handled them in a different way.

“He was a master of psychology, he was a master at getting the best out of certain individuals like whether to put an arm around, or whether to give them a rocket at half time or at the end of the game or leave them out knowing that the player would react in a positive way.”

Willie Nelson's Gig For Democrat Senate Hopeful Has GOP Howling

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Texas country music legend Willie Nelson is scheduled to headline a rally in Austin later this month in support of U.S. Senate hopeful Beto O’Rourke and his campaign to unseat Republican Ted Cruz, and the singer’s conservative fans are howling in protest.

The Sept. 29 concert to be staged at Auditorium shores in South Austin will be open to the public. Other musical guests include Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Particle Kid, Carrie Rodriguez, Tameca Jones, and Joe Ely.

“My wife Annie and I have met and spoken with Beto and we share his concern for the direction things are headed,” Nelson said in the press release referencing his plans. “Beto embodies what is special about Texas, an energy and an integrity that is completely genuine.”

While fans of the iconic singer, who are legion, will no doubt pack the grounds to watch Nelson perform, his conservative fans aren’t happy he’s thrown his support behind O’Rourke, a pro-choice, pro-gun control Democrat.

This is Texas, after all, where Austin stands out as virtually the lone blue dot in a sea of Republican red. Conservatives abound, and they’re making their displeasure of Nelson’s musically expressed support for a Democrat known.

You might say they’re madder than wet hens. In other words, they’re furious.

No ordinary singer, Nelson is as identified with Texas as Hill Country bluebonnets, chicken fried steaks and barbecue. He’s a sizable piece of the fabric of Texas, with a statue of him in the 2nd Street district in downtown Austin in bronze homage. Nicknamed “The Red-Headed Stranger,” he’s beloved in Texas by untold millions of fans.

But his support now has some blue eyes (and those of other hues) cryin’ in the rain. And while the singer undoubtedly would prefer to see his disenchanted admirers up than see them down, some aren’t likely to get on the road to fandom again.

Here’s a sampling of their expressed discontent on the comments thread to the Facebook announcement:

The considerable endorsement comes at a time of rising consternation among conservatives over O’Rourke’s recent campaign strides. Given the state’s redness, it’s unheard of in these parts for a Democrat to mount a real challenge to a Republican lawmaker. Yet the race is now competitive, with several recent polls framing it as too close to call.

Beto O’Rourke

O’Rourke’s youthful good looks, coupled with a populist message of reform has galvanized his base. In contrast, Cruz comes off as more wonky and lawyerly with occasional attempts to be hip or humorous usually falling flat. By contrast, a recent video of O’Rourke skateboarding at night in a parking lot of a Whataburger (another Texas icon) while on the stump only enhanced his appeal.

Related story: Beto O’Rourke Austin Town Hall Could Be A Humdinger

The competitive Cruz-O’Rourke contest has garnered national interest, as evidenced by invitations to the challenger from Ellen Degeneres and Stephen Colbert to appear on their shows. O’Rourke’s growing appeal can be seen across the Texas landscape increasingly dotted by “Beto” yard signs telegraphing support. Growing support also is reflected in campaign coffers. At last check, O’Rourke has raised $23.6 million to Cruz’s $15.6 million.

Needless to say, Republicans are worried. And Nelson’s musical tribute ain’t helping matters.

The Cruz camp has responded to the threat with varying degrees of success. In a recent series of what can be categorized as, to a fashion, attack ads, Cruz’s campaign tried to mock O’Rourke’s past as a member of a punk band, accompanying the slam with a photo of the Democrat in full punk regalia, goth-like stage makeup and all.

For good measure, Cruz’s people released old booking photo of O’Rourke taken after youthful brushes with the law. According to Vox.com, O’Rourke was arrested twice during his 20s — once for jumping a fence at University of Texas’s El Paso campus and a misdemeanor drunk driving arrest — but never convicted.

The images were sent into the Twittersphere in support of Cruz as retaliation for O’Rourke’s recent refusal to agree to debate terms with captions mocking the Democrat “Sorry, can’t debate. We have a gig,” one caption reads. Another one reads: “Sorry, I’m going to have to skate on the debate on Friday. I just got the killer board. I’m sure the voters won’t mind.”

The tactics backfired. Social media followers dismissed the significance of O’Rourke’s past transgressions, expressing instead some measure of admiration for his rebel past. As for the punk rock imagery, the photos yielded expressions by not a small number of women (and some men too) of developed crushes on the youthful candidate.

Given those gaffes and the Democrat’s gains, the GOP is deploying its big guns in the form of Donald Trump, who’s planning a rally for the beleaguered Cruz in Texas next month. Mind you, the two Republicans were once nemesis to each other when running for president. At one point, Trump mocked the appearance of Cruz’s wife — a lovely woman in her own right whose looks Trump contrasted to that of his own wife, former model Melania Trump in suggesting his wife was hotter.

As is his wont, Trump even devised a nickname for Cruz while on the stump: Lyin’ Ted.

Oh, and he also advanced a truly “fake news” story in the National Enquirer that Cruz’s dad, a Cuban immigrant, somehow played a role in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Long gone, if not forgotten, is Cruz calling Trump, “a sniveling coward.”

But the two men have since made up, if only out of political expediency. It’s all water under the bridge now to hear Trump tell it: “I will be doing a major rally for Senator Ted Cruz in October. I’m picking the biggest stadium in Texas we could find,” President Donald Trump posted on Twitter in late August.

While conservatives will likely steer clear of Nelson’s political hoedown, those wishing to attend are urged to first register on O’Rourke’s website. To register, go to betofortexas.com.

Regardless of political stripe, the show is sure to be a hootenanny.

Spanish Golfer Celia Barquin Murdered In Iowa: Police

AMES, IA — A man charged with first-degree murder in the death of a talented Spanish golfer who was on the woman’s team at Iowa State University allegedly made statements about “having an urge to rape and kill women,” Ames police commander Geoff Huff said at a press conference Tuesday.

According to police, officers responded to the Coldwater Golf Course Monday around 10:25 a.m. after golfers on the course found a golf bag with no one near it on the course. Police say around 11:03 a.m., staff at the course alerted them to a body found in the water. The victim was identified as Celia Barquin Arozamena, 22.

Huff said Barquin, who was golfing alone at the time, had been stabbed in the upper torso, neck and head.

Police say after a search of a wooded area next to the golf course, officers spoke to a person who told them of another individual living in the wooded area. Police say the person told them the individual had made statements about “having an urge to rape and kill women.”

Huff said police got a dog from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office who tracked the scent from the victim to a location in the wooded area. Around 2 p.m., Huff said officers encountered Collin Daniel Richards, 22.

Richards had fresh scratches on his face consistent with a fight and he was attempting to conceal a laceration on his hand, according to Huff. At some point, Richards went to another address and bathed. Huff said people at that address described him as “disheveled” and covered in “blood, sand and water.” He left the residence with clothes and a black backpack, Huff said. Police say they recovered the backpack, which had two pairs of shorts in it that tested positive for human blood. Police also recovered a knife, according to Huff.

Richards is charged with first-degree murder. A preliminary hearing has been set for Sept. 28 at 1 p.m.

Huff said police will continue to follow up on whether there is any evidence of sexual assault. He said there was no relationship between the two that authorities have found.

“It’s rare obviously, still very troubling that something like this could happen in broad daylight in a community as safe as Ames,” Huff said. He added that he could not comment yet on a motive.

A native of Spain, Barquin was the 2018 Big 12 Champion and the Iowa State female athlete of the year. She was completing her civil engineering degree at Iowa State.

“Celia had an infectious smile, a bubbly personality and anyone fortunate enough to know her was blessed,” Jamie Pollard, Iowa State Director of Athletics, said in a statement. “Our Cyclone family mourns the tragic loss of Celia, a spectacular student-athlete and ISU ambassador.”

In a statement, the school called her “one of the most accomplished players in Cyclone golf history.” She won the European Ladies Amateur at the Penati Golf Resort in Slovakia in July and was ranked no. 69 nationally by Golfweek.

“We are all devastated,” Christie Martens, Iowa State head women’s golf coach, said in the statement. “Celia was a beautiful person who was loved by all her teammates and friends. She loved Iowa State and was an outstanding representative for our school. We will never forget her competitive drive to be the best and her passion for life.”

According to information from the Iowa State roster, Barquin said she chose Iowa State because of the “facilities, coaches, and teammates, as well as the beautiful campus.” She listed her favorite golf course as Chiberta in France, where she was the three-time winner of the Gran Prix of Chiberta tournament.

Source : The Lancet.com, 29 juillet 2009Click Here: Maori All Blacks Store
