L’affiche définitive du film d’animation de Mark Osborne “Le Petit Prince” vient d’être dévoilée. Le long métrage sortira sur nos écrans le 29 juillet prochain.

Présenté hors-compétition lors du dernier Festival de Cannes, Le Petit Prince de Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda) dévoile son affiche définitive.

Adapté du chef-d’oeuvre d’Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, le long métrage animé raconte l’histoire d”une petite fille, intrépide et curieuse, qui vit dans un monde d’adultes. Elle fait la rencontre d’un aviateur, excentrique et facétieux qui n’a jamais vraiment grandi. Celui-ci va lui conter l’histoire d’un petit garçon ami avec un renard et une rose : Le Petit Prince. 

Côté casting vocal, André Dussolier, Florence Foresti, Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard, Guillaume Gallienne, Laurent Lafitte et Vincent Lindon prêtent leurs voix aux personnages animés.

La Weinstein Company distribuera le prochain western de Tarantino à partir du 25 décembre dans les salles américaines pour une sortie limitée. Une façon de se positionner pour les Oscars 2016, et la véritable sortie suivra le 8 janvier.

Quoi de mieux qu’une sortie à Noël pour un western sous la neige ? La Weinstein Company a choisi de sortir Hateful Eight de Quentin Tarantino le 25 décembre prochain aux Etats-Unis. Cette première exploitation sera exclusivement réservée à une sortie au format 70 mm, soit un écran large et une qualité d’image optimale. Le western sortira ensuite dans le reste du pays, et en format numérique, à partir du 8 janvier.

Pour la France, aucune date n’a encore été précisée mais aux Etats-Unis, le choix de la sortie dès 2015 et non en 2016 est destinée à rendre Hateful Eight éligible pour les Oscars du mois de février. Les Weinstein avaient procédé de même en sortant Django Unchained -le précédent Tarantino- le 25 décembre 2012. Ceci avait valu au film 5 nominations et deux statuettes : meilleur second rôle pour Christoph Waltz et meilleur scénario original pour Quentin Tarantino.

En choisissant de tourner son western sous la neige, Tarantino rend un hommage clin d’oeil à certains grands films du genre comme le nihiliste Grand silence de Sergio Corbucci ou l’excellent La Chevauchée des bannis d’André De Toth.

Liverpool are investigating an alleged incident between Wolves defender Jonny and a ball boy during the Reds’ 1-0 win at Anfield.

The PA news agency understands the club are looking into claims the Spaniard came into contact with the youngster while trying to retrieve a ball in front of the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.

“The club is aware of the incident and will follow established protocols in terms of gathering the relevant information,” Liverpool said in a statement given to PA.

“While that process takes place we will be making no further comment.”

It is understood Wolves are aware of the alleged incident but are awaiting further feedback from Liverpool.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are battling for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano’s signature, according to reports.

The centre-back has been heavily linked with Arsenal over the past six months with the Gunners looking to strengthen their backline.

Over the summer it was reported that Arsenal, and everyone else interested, were put off by Leipzig’s huge £70m asking price for Upamecano.

However, the Daily Express now claims that Leipzig’s asking price is now a more acceptable £50m for the Frenchman and that Arsenal and Tottenham are now willing to meet their demands in January.

Manchester City have also been linked with Upamecano in the past and with Aymeric Laporte out for a lengthy period it wouldn’t be a shock to see them bid for the defender.

Tottenham have conceded 29 goals in the Premier League this season, while Arsenal – who currently occupy 12th position in the Premier League – have let in 30.

Meanwhile, the Gunners lost 2-1 to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday after leading at half-time.

New Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta believes Jorginho should have been dismissed for a second yellow card, but insisted the Gunners only have themselves to blame for defeat.

Arsenal have now lost four consecutive home matches in all competitions for the first time in 60 years.

Asked whether Jorginho should have been sent off, Arteta said: “I think that’s up to the referee but for me it’s very clear. That’s it.

“I blame my team (for defeat). We are responsible for everything we did wrong on that football pitch.

“The decisions we didn’t get right, obviously. The other things we cannot control or change them now.”

 

West Ham have appointed David Moyes as first-team manager on an 18-month contract, the Premier League club have announced.

Moyes replaces Manuel Pellegrini, who was sacked on Saturday, and returns to the London Stadium after an interim spell during the 2017-18 season.

The Scot guided the Hammers to safety in his first spell at the club before they decided not to offer him a new contract and instead appointed Pellegrini. He will take immediate charge of the team ahead of their New Year’s Day fixture against Bournemouth.

Moyes told the club website: “It’s fabulous to be back. It feels great to be home. I’ve missed being here because I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed being around the stadium and I loved being in this part of the world and I missed the club, so I can’t wait to get started.

“I’m feeling very proud that I’m back here at West Ham. But I think more importantly I’ll be looking to see what I can do and what I can make improvements to, how we can get some wins with the players and how we can get some quick wins on the field as well.

“I do believe that the squad of players I’ve got here is a better squad of players than when I took over before, so I am looking forward to working with them.

“I think there’s got to be a short-term goal for us just now to get the wins to get us away from the wrong end of the league and what we’re going to do over the next six months, then what we’re going to do over the next period as well. The start is really focusing on the immediate games.”

The 56-year-old has spent 15 seasons managing in the Premier League, including an 11-year spell with Everton and unsuccessful stints with Manchester United and Sunderland.

West Ham joint-chairman David Gold is confident that Moyes is the man to move the club, who sit 17th in the Premier League and just a point above the relegation zone, up the table.

“David proved in his short time with the club that he was capable of getting results and we believe that he will start moving the club in the right direction once again,” Sullivan said.

“We are delighted to welcome David back – he knows the club well and he built strong relationships during that time which will be crucial for the work that needs to be done going forward.”

Moyes will address the media at 2pm on Monday as he sets about preparing for the Bournemouth encounter, a fixture that could prove crucial to both struggling clubs’ prospects heading into the second half of the season.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta believes his side started to “defend too deep” in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Emirates, and admitted “the way we conceded was disappointing”.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal in front in the 13th minute with a fine header, a lead which they deservedly maintained for the vast majority of the game.

The Gunners were relatively comfortable until Bernd Leno flapped at a Mason Mount free-kick in the 83rd minute to allow Jorginho – who came on and changed the game – to sidefoot into an empty net.

Tammy Abraham then nicked all three points for Chelsea four minutes later after a wonderful touch and finish after Willian broke away and crossed for the English frontman.

Arteta said: “It was very cruel the way we lost it, in the first half we saw a lot of positives and saw what we are trying to implement. But the way we conceded was disappointing.

“It was clear why it was disappointing, I don’t need to say any more.

“Our reaction was right, we were doing the right things, it is hard to dominate all periods of the game against this team. We started to defend too deep and our energy levels are in a different place to Chelsea’s.

“We need to sustain those periods for longer periods in the game and against top sides. Individual errors cost you games but I can’t fault the effort, commitment and for putting in place what we practised.”

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has praised the early work done by new Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta, believing the Spaniard is just what the club requires as they move in a “different direction”.

Arteta started his reign with a 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth on December 26, with Aubameyang scoring a second-half equaliser to secure a point.

His first home game sees Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, the London derby a key fixture for the Gunners as they look to make up ground and get back involved in the battle to finish in the top four in the Premier League.

In his programme notes, Aubameyang revealed how Arteta has been “very rigorous and demanding” during training sessions as he aims to put his imprint on the team – something you could already see in their performance against Bournemouth.

“He’s only been in charge for a few days, but we’ve seen a big difference already. We needed someone who would come in and shake the whole squad up,” Aubameyang wrote.

“We needed someone with new ideas, with a new message and someone who would take us in a different direction. Mikel has brought all of that. We needed a fresh new start and something different and we can feel it already.

“He is very rigorous and demanding on the training pitch. It’s all about details with him so he talks a lot, repositions us, explains a lot of little things.

“If you analyse our display against Bournemouth closely, you can see tactically the changes that Mikel made, like the positions of our two full-backs, Mesut [Ozil] and I playing between the lines behind Laca [Alexandre Lacazette], Granit [Xhaka]’s position as well in the build-up play.”

Arteta left his role as assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City to return to Arsenal and has quickly lifted spirits within the club, according to Aubameyang.

“His message to the players was clear and well received. It was about attitude and commitment,” the Gabon international continued.

“He wants us to be at 200 per cent all the time, to give everything we have and leave it all on the pitch. It’s exciting for us because it’s so different to everything we have done and experimented with before.

“It is a new dawn and you can feel how positive everyone is at the club about it.”

Le prince Harry et Barack Obama sont devenus de vrais amis, leurs liens se sont tissés au fil des années, notamment durant les Invictus Games. La relation entre l’ancien président et le petit-fils de la reine Elisabeth II pourrait être mise à rude épreuve : le deuxième ne pourrait pas inviter le premier à son mariage avec Meghan Markle, prévu pour le 19 mai prochain. En effet, selon The Sun, le gouvernement britannique redoute qu’en conviant l’ex-président américain, le prince Harry se verrait contraint d’envoyer également l’invitation à l’actuel président – or, la présence de Donald Trump n’est pas du tout souhaitée à ce mariage.

Et si ce dernier n’est pas invité à la noce de l’année, le gouvernement craint que les relations entre Washington et Londres ne se détériorent pour de bon. “Harry a été très clair sur le fait qu’il voulait inviter le couple Obama à son mariage. Cela provoque beaucoup de tensions. Trump pourrait réagir très mal si les Obama vont à un mariage royal avant même qu’il ait une chance de rencontrer la reine“, a expliqué un membre du gouvernement outre-Manche, toujours selon The Sun. Donald Trump semble être la dernière personne attendue à la cérémonie : Meghan Markle s’en était pris sévèrement au magna de l’immobilier sur Twitter l’année dernière, lors de la campagne électorale, alors qu’il était candidat. Pendant 15 ans Johnny Hallyday et Sylvie Vartan ont formé le couple star du starsystem en France. Malgré les années, leur belle complicité était restée intacte.

“Le coeur brisé” par la disparition de son amour de jeunesse Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan n’a pas cherché à cacher son chagrin Dans un message bouleversant, elle fut parmi les premières à réagir à la disparition de Johnny, avec qui elle a formé le couple star des yéyés. Lors de l’hommage public place de la Madeleine, elle n’avait pas retenu ses larmes. Réconfortée par son mari Tony Scotti et sa fille Darina, l’icône yéyé était apparue très marquée, le visage défait malgré les lunettes noires qui cachaient ses larmes. Elle était arrivée de son côté, tandis que Laeticia Hallyday et ses filles Jade et Joy accompagnaient le cercueil blanc de Johnny lors de sa descente des Champs-Elysées. En dévoilant dans un communiqué à l’AFP pourquoi elle avait renoncé à assister aux obsèques à St Barth, Sylvie avait suscité un certain émoi chez les proches du Taulier, poussant même Jean-Claude Darmon à prendre la parole, en des termes particulièrement virulents.

Depuis ce que certains ont considéré comme une attaque, pas une semaine ne passe sans que les médias se fassent l’écho de rumeurs. Y aurait-il des tensions entre les deux clans Hallyday ? Entre les deux grands enfants de la star et Laeticia ? Sylvie Vartan n’est pas du genre à se mêler à ce type de querelles. Depuis leur séparation, ces deux-là ne s’étaient jamais vraiment quittés. Malgré la distance (Sylvie Vartan vit aux Etats-Unis depuis de nombreuses années et a refait sa vie), elle a toujours été présente dans les moments difficiles : les deux se voyaient régulièrement. Quelques semaines avant la disparition de Johnny, après la fin de la tournée des Vieilles Canailles, elle donnait de ses nouvelles, et racontait l’un de leurs dîners. Entre eux, la complicité n’avait jamais cessé. La confiance intacte.

En 2009, lorsque Johnny est passé tout près de la mort, après un coma qui l’a plongé dans une sévère dépression Sylvie était là aussi, à ses côtés. “Solide comme un roc, cachée derrière ses sourires et ses lunettes noires, l’ex épouse du chanteur a été omniprésente”, écrivait Renaud Revel dans le livre Les 100 jours où tout a basculé. Attentive réservée, entretenant de bonnes relations avec Laeticia, elle n’a cessé de veiller au grain. Sans jalousie, ni concupiscence”. Décrite comme la plus“vaillante alliée de Johnny”, elle a su toutes ses années rester à ses côtés, à sa place, “l’une des rares à conserver son oreille, l’une des seules qu’il écoute avec attention quand il ressent le besoin d’échanger et que sa vie traverse un cap difficile. Sylvie est son filtre, une amie précieuse qui passe au tamis les angoisses et les questions de celui qu’elle a aimé, un homme qu’elle connaît mieux que quiconque“, écrivait encore le journaliste. Soucieuse de resserrer les liens du clan dans cette période difficile pour Johnny, là aussi la première épouse de Johnny a joué un rôle clé, avec David bien sûr, et avec Laura. La suite on la connaît, Sylvie jusqu’au bout aura été présente, au chevet pour celui avec qui elle a partagé de longues années.

Benjamin Biolay a accusé Grégoire de s’être un peu trop inspiré de l’une de ses chansons, via une vidéo postée sur instagram le 31 décembre. Le chanteur s’en est défendu dans une réponse qui ne manquait pas d’humour.

L’année 2018 démarre en fanfare pour la chanson française avec cette querelle entre Benjamin Biolay et Grégoire. Le premier a accusé le second d’avoir plagié l’un de ses titres, Ton Héritage, extrait de l’album “La Superbe“ daté de 2009 et destiné à sa fille Anna, pour sa chanson Mes enfants, sortie en novembre dernier. Sur instagram dimanche 31 décembre, le juré de la Nouvelle Star a choisi de glisser ses doigts sur son piano pour accuser l’interprète de Toi + Moi, tout en musique.

“Sachez que copier c’est pas beau, même si travailler c’est trop dur (…) Il y a moyen de faire un morceau surtout pour sa progéniture sans faire d’emprunt, ou pas trop, et sans se faire gauler, c’est sûr (…) mais bonne année quand même“, a chanté Benjamin Biolay, avec le message : “Le couplet manquant de la dernière chanson de Grégoire” en légende à sa vidéo.

Grégoire ne s’est pas laissé faire. Pour sa réponse, il s’est lui aussi fait aider par son piano, interprétant tour à tour Ton héritage, I Will Survive de Gloria Gaynor, le Temps des fleurs de Dalida, pour finir sur sa propre chanson, le tout avec les mêmes accords. En légende à cette vidéo, postée sur Twitter, le chanteur a taclé “Monsieur Me Myself and I” et l’a invité à lire le poème “Si… Tu seras un homme, mon fils” de Rudyard Kipling. “Bonne année quand même…“, a conclu Grégoire.

Auprès du Parisien, il s’est à nouveau défendu de tout plagiat. “C’est la cour de récré, s’est-il lamenté. Des chansons d’un père qui parle à ses enfants, il y en a des milliers. (…) En ce qui me concerne, je me suis inspiré d’un poème de Rudyard Kipling qui date de 1910. (…) La suite d’accords de nos deux chansons existe depuis des millions d’années et elle n’est pas la même sur tout le morceau. La seule ressemblance, c’est l’ambiance piano-voix. Il n’y en a pas plus que ça. Ce n’est pas un plagiat“, a martelé le chanteur.
