Aston Villa boss Dean Smith accused his side of lacking desire after their defeat at Wolves.
Injury-hit Villa lost 2-1 at Molineux on Sunday to slip to a third straight Premier League loss.
Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez scored as Wolves dominated, despite Trezeguet’s injury-time strike.
Villa now sit three points above the relegation zone heading into the international break.
“It appeared the game was bigger for them than us. The best thing was it was only 1-0 at half time,” said Smith.
“It’s not really for you to print (what he said at half time). You have to go and compete, it doesn’t matter what game you’re playing.
“We didn’t cope with the pressure we were put under. They were right up for it from the start and we didn’t have enough intensity in our play. That’s something we’ll talk about.
“It won’t take an awful lot to be better.”
Skipper Jack Grealish was missing with a calf problem with Tom Heaton also out with his own calf injury.
The goalkeeper has pulled out of the England squad to remain at Villa for treatment.
Replacement Jed Steer lasted just eight minutes, limping off with an Achilles issue, while Matt Targett came off with blurred vision and Bjorn Engels missed the game with a hip problem.
“It (the disruption) doesn’t affect your desire to win a header, a tackle and a second ball,” Smith insisted.
Steer’s replacement, Orjan Nyland, was beaten by Neves’ fine 41st-minute strike, the midfielder drilling in from the edge of the box.
Adama Traore hit the bar before Jimenez made it 2-0 with six minutes left. Trezeguet gave Villa hope with a late strike late, which was given by goal-line technology, but the hosts held on.
Wolves are now unbeaten in their last seven top-flight outings and are just one point adrift of the top five.
Boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: “We always compete, this is very tough to do and it makes me very proud.
“We played very well, we dominated the game, especially in the first half. I’m happy with the performance and atmosphere.
“When you produce so many chances you must finish the actions, we broke a lot of times and we clearly didn’t finish it. We need to improve on that.
“Villa created more problems in the second half, didn’t allow us to press as high, but we’re happy because we made the second goal and could have made more.”

“She’s one of our favorite performers,” Holmes said, “Who is it, tonight?” before 11-year-old Suri enthusiastically exclaimed “Taylor Swift!”
Suri wasn’t the only one at the Jingle Ball who was pretty excited about the musical artists—and with good reason. With a lineup that also included Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Camila Cabello, Fall Out Boy, The Chainsmokers, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Sam Smith, even some of the musicians and presenters themselves took Jingle Ball as an opportunity to reflect on the the year in music.
Logic, for example, had a clear favorite jam of 2017.
“‘On the Level’ by Mac DeMarco [is my favorite], because of who he is,” he told InStyle. “I love the sonics of it, and he’s just a really nice guy. I’m not even sure what that song is about, I just love it.”
Singer and Disney actress Olivia Holt was also thankful for a year of good music.

“I think something I was really stoked about this year was Calvin Harris’s new album. I feel like everyone always just forgets about it because it just comes and it goes, but his album is just amazing, I don’t think that album will ever get old for me,” she said to InStyle back stage on the Jingle Ball red carpet. “Demi’s new album is great. There’s a lot of good things out there, and I feel grateful to be in an industry where people are making great stuff.”
Whether your musical favorite of 2017 was Taylor Swift or Calvin Harris, one thing is for sure: if music stays this catchy, poignant, and powerful in the New Year, 2018 will certainly be worth looking forward to.
It’s been a crazy busy season for Kardashian fans. Not only did Kim confirm that she and Kanye are expecting a baby girl via surrogate, but within days of each other in late September, both Kylie and Khloé were rumored to be pregnant, too. At this point, both have been silent, but if you think about it, it’s not all that surprising that Khloé and Kylie haven’t addressed pregnancy rumors. Although it often feels like the Kardashian and Jenner sisters are everywhere, when it comes to their personal lives, they do tend to take things slow.
Khloé, 33, is allegedly pregnant by boyfriend Tristan Thompson, whom she’s been dating for over a year. Kylie, 20, is allegedly expecting a baby with boyfriend Travis Scott. Both women are said to be anywhere from three to five months along, depending on which anonymous sources and celeb gossip sites you read. Just after the rumors leaked about each woman, celebrity reporters were quick to hound Mama Kris for any kind of confirmation.

When they first caught up with her during Milan Fashion Week, Momager Jenner was totally cryptic. In an interview with New York Magazine the day after Kylie’s pregnancy rumors almost broke the internet, Jenner said, “I just woke up this morning. She’s not confirmed anything. I think it’s kind of wild that everyone is just assuming that that’s just happening.”
When pressed on the issue about whether she knew the rumor was coming, Jenner responded, “Something happens every single day. You never know what is going to break at any moment.”
On social media, many people initially joked that Jenner leaked the pregnancy rumors to coincide with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians 10-year anniversary or that she was generally just a puppet master controlling the lives of her daughters. Kris Jenner is a great businesswoman, for sure, but the family is also pretty loyal, and we can believe that she might occasionally want to give her daughters their privacy.
Likewise, sister Kim has also decided to be as private as possible when it comes to her own pregnancy news and her sisters’ alleged news. While on The Ellen Degeneres Show this week, she skillfully avoided having to talk about anything baby-related unless it was her own news (though she did appear to accidentally spill the gender of her third child). Ellen approached with caution asking her about her “pregnant sisters” and Kim said, “Alright, I’m going to break it down. This is how we work in the family. When there are lots of rumors, we have this family group chat and we threaten each other’s lives if we speak for the other one. For the safety of my life…”
Kim then added,
It was actually pretty classy. And it makes it pretty clear that there’s nothing odd about not addressing their respective pregnancies in the media just yet. There are tons of celebrities who keep their baby announcements and news as quiet as possible all the time, so why should the Kardashians and Jenner sisters be any different?
Although the family has made its fortune by being so public and sharing pretty much everything with the public, whether it’s on Snapchat or E!, some things are sacred. As soon as they confirm the news, it’s out there in public, for everyone to comment on. And knowing just how badly some people treat the Kardashians—even if it’s just in mean comments on their Instagram posts—holding onto the news and keeping it just for themselves for as long as possible is like a survival instinct, or at the very least, an act of self care.
And the truth is, the Kardashians and Jenner sisters have become increasingly private in the past year or so.
Maybe it’s just that they’re getting more savvy about what parts of their lives to share in public, or they’re getting older, or Kim’s robbery scared the crap out of them, but what we get from the Kardashians are carefully plucked tidbits. More often, if the news isn’t attached in some way to one of their many businesses, they withhold it. On some level, thats always been true—you can’t be a celebrity and not try to control the narrative about yourself at least sometimes—but it feels like they’re more private than ever (even if they’re more famous than ever before).
Khloé, for example, has kept her relationship with Thompson super private, even from her family. They had been dating a few months before they went public on Instagram or she even told her family about her new boo. Kim said in the Season 13 premiere, “So, I see pictures of Khloé with some NBA player, and even though I know not to believe everything on the internet, Khloé and an NBA player do go hand in hand. It’s my sister. Of course, I want to know who she’s hooking up with.”
In response, Khloé said in a one-on-one interview that she was having fun “torturing” her sister by keeping her business to herself. And that seems to be exactly how she, and younger sis Kylie, are viewing their pregnancy rumors.
In a way, it feels like they’re enjoying toying with us.
On Kylie’s social media accounts at least, she’s essentially trolling her fans by posting pics and using captions that fans are spending way too much time decoding. Remember when she and Khloé did that video last month and joked about the family having “so many babies”?
Since the rumors about their respective pregnancies have leaked, both Khloé and Kylie have made some public appearances that only serve as opportunities for fans to hunt for a baby bump, or any sign at all that they’re pregnant. It’s easy to imagine the two of them having a good laugh on that group chat about how closely everyone is following them.
The two have famously always gotten along, so it makes sense that Kylie might follow her big sister’s lead in keeping news about her pregnancy and her relationship with Scott, which is also kind of new, on the DL. Not only are they keeping their private lives private, but it must be hilarious to have so much power over people.
There’s sometimes a general assumption about the Kardashian/Jenner family that they owe all of us the most private details of their lives all the time. Yes, they are famous because of their reality show and their social media presence, but it’s no mystery that the two sisters would want to keep the state of their uteruses private, if only to protect their relationships, their sanity, and have some quality family time before their baby pics are flying all over the internet. They’re just people, after all.

You’ve likely already binged Season 2 of Stranger Things in its entirety, which means that like us, you’re likely completely obsessed with its titular star, Eleven, aka, Millie Bobby Brown.
It’s no news that the 13-year-old English actress is undoubtedly talented, but in a new interview she revealed that she’s actually deaf in one ear—making her low-key superhuman.
According to Variety, Brown was born with partial loss of hearing and after years of working to recover it, it faded for good. She basically can’t hear herself as we would, however, that doesn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams. The latest? Singing.
“I just started to sing, and if I sound bad I don’t care because I’m just doing what I love,” she told Variety. “You don’t have to be good at singing. You don’t have to be good at dancing or acting. If you like to do it, if you genuinely enjoy doing it, then do it. No one should stop you.”
Cheers to that, Millie.
And while she didn’t exactly say she’s hoping to sing professionally, something tells us following a path toward a successful singing career is on her mind.

As for how she feels about her skills, let’s just say she’s obsessed.
“It was like a bug,” she said about acting. “I know this sounds crazy, but once I find something I want to do, nobody’s stopping me. If I don’t know how to sew, and I really had that passion to sew, that’s it, I’m going to sew. That’s also with acting. So here I am.”
Mila Kunis is unhappy with the current political climate, and she found a productive way to demonstrate her discontent. The Bad Moms Christmas star stopped by Conan on Thursday and talked about the expert way she’s been protesting Vice President Mike Pence.
“I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do, and so as a reminder that there are women out there in the world that may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of reoccurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood,” Kunis told O’Brien. “Every month to his office he gets a little letter that says like, ‘An anonymous donation has been made in your name.’”

“I don’t look at it as a prank. This is just like, I strongly disagree and this is my little way of showing it. It’s a peaceful protest, exactly,” she said.
Kunis isn’t the only one participating in the strategy, which gained traction as a movement since the 2016 election. Between Nov. 8 and Nov. 22 last year, the organization saw more than 50,000 individual donations that referred to Pence.

On Tuesday morning, Christopher Bailey announced that he will step down from his role at Burberry. After 17 years with the brand, Bailey will officially depart as chief creative officer and president on March 31, 2018.
“It has been the great privilege of my working life to be at Burberry, working alongside and learning from such an extraordinary group of people over the last 17 years,” Bailey said in a statement, reported by Business Of Fashion.
He continued: “I do truly believe, however, that Burberry’s best days are still ahead of her and that the company will go from strength to strength with the strategy we have developed and the exceptional talent we have in place led by Marco. I am excited to pursue new creative projects but remain fully committed to the future success of this magnificent brand and to ensuring a smooth transition.”
Bailey started his long tenure with the British brand in 2001 as design director. Eight years later, he moved up to chief creative officer, which was followed by his appointment as chief executive in 2014. Bailey broke fashion ground for the millennial generation, with his see-now, buy-now runway shows and unveiling of collections on Snapchat and social media.
No word about who will fill Bailey’s shoes as his successor, but chief executive Marco Gobetti has been tasked with seeking out “new creative talent for Burberry.” Stay tuned!
Queen Elizabeth may have had a cough over her cornflakes Monday morning as the issue of her financial affairs became front page news.
The Queen, 91, invested as much as $13.2 million (£10 million) in offshore tax havens, a series of leaked documents claim.
The documents, around 13 million files that have become known as the “Paradise Papers,” detail how the Queen’s private income fund put money into accounts held in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda, the BBC’s Panorama program reported. The private fund, called Duchy of Lancaster estate, is worth around $655 million and provides the Queen with $25.2 million a year. She pays tax on that—a decision she agreed to in 1992 after a fire destroyed much of Windsor Castle.
At the time of the fire, talks were already underway concerning moves for the Queen to pay taxes. But when she and the government agreed that she should be the first monarch since the 1930s to pay a levy on her income, it was interpreted as a response to a fight over who should pay for the fire damage.
The Guardian, one of the main partners in a consortium of media businesses combing through the newly-discovered files, highlighted that a small amount of the Duchy of Lancaster’s offshore money was found to have been invested in a British retailer Brighthouse, which has been criticized for not being a “responsible lender.”

Insiders tells People that the Queen would not be aware of the investment decisions that are made by the Duchy. The estate is managed by the Duchy Council, and all investments are made on the advice of fund managers and consultants, a source adds.
Buckingham Palace had no comment on the story and referred all calls to the Duchy. There, a spokesperson said in a statement, “We operate a number of investments and a few of these are with overseas funds. All of our investments are fully audited and legitimate.
“The Dover Street investment [in the Cayman Islands] was bought in 2005 and forms only 0.3% of the total value of the Duchy.
“The Duchy’s investment in Bright House is through a third party and equates to £3,208—just 0.0006% of the Duchy’s value.”
The statement adds, “The Queen voluntarily pays tax on any income she receives from the Duchy.”
As Thanksgiving draws nearer and we prepare our kitchens and stomachs accordingly, most people can look forward to time spent with family and friends, and Ben Affleck is no exception. The actor has big plans for his holiday celebration next week, and they involve some special people in his life—including his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Affleck and Garner will be reuniting with Affleck’s mom and his brother Casey Affleck for a Thanksgiving holiday at his best friend Matt Damon’s house, and it all sounds like the stuff of A-list family dreams.

“My mom’s coming out, and I think my brother will come over. We’ll go down the street and see Matt’s family. Thanksgiving’s a nice holiday,” he told E! News at the premiere of Justice League on Monday. “I just assume when we go to Matt’s, he’s already cooked something!”
Even if he isn’t planning on cooking, he is planning on taking the family to see his new movie sometime soon since it’s appropriate for his kids.

Shonda Rhimes has a special surprise for Grey’s Anatomy fans when the popular series marks its 300th episode tonight.
“Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story,” which airs on November 9th, will reportedly pay homage to the characters played by Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh, and T.R. Knight by bringing out a slew of new characters with similarities to Izzie, Cristina, and George.
In an interview with E! News, actor James Pickens Jr., — also known as Dr. Richard Webber on the long-running series — told the news outlet that while Heigl, Oh, and Knight will not actually be making cameos to mark the milestone, fans will have the opportunity to go down “memory lane.”
“We’ll see some actors who come into the hospital after a horrific accident who remind us of Izzie and George and Cristina Yang,” Pickens Jr. dished.

He continued, “And it’s so cool how they do it. To round out the nostalgia-filled episode, the episode’s director Debbie Allen also teased that fans can expect to get some Mer and Alex flashbacks when Grey Sloan’s brand new intern class comes into play.
“All I can say is, just keep your eyes wide open because there are a lot of little surprises in there for you,” she revealed. “There’s a lot of little nuggets and throwbacks to the past. I call it our Hubble telescope episode, because the Hubble telescope lets you look back into the past and forward. And this show, it’s all of that.”
The milestone 300th episode of the silver screen hit airs Thursday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
