Angelina Jolie has a new favorite accessory and, luckily for us, it’s super easy to recreate the look. The mom of six stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday wearing a breezy cape coat for the second time in the last few days, and we’re totally into her low-key look.
Jolie wore a cream slip dress that draped down to her ankles with a small V-neckline, pairing the breezy sheath with a gray cape coat with fringe detailing at the hem (shop similar here and here). The mom of six paired her look with tan pumps, delicate gold bracelets, and oversize black sunglasses. She wore minimal makeup for the outing and sipped on a Diet Coke. As we anxiously await Big Little Lies‘s return to HBO in 2019, Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern cannot stop fangirling over the addition of their newest co-star, Meryl Streep–and for very good reason.
While it was previously reported that Kidman, who is friends with the three-time Oscar winner, approached Streep to take on the role of Perry’s mother, Mary Louise Wright, in the series’s second season, the Lion actress is now giving us reason to believe that Streep’s decision was ultimately swayed by her desire to support fellow women in the industry.
“Reese and I were just [thinking], ‘She would be so amazing in the role!'” Kidman exclusively explained to ET alongside Dern at Calvin Klein’s NYFW show on Tuesday night. “It was written for her and we wanted her.”
However, the cast didn’t think Streep would take the part. “We didn’t think we’d get her,” Kidman said. But alas, the 68-year-old didn’t need much convincing. “It really is her standing up and going, ‘I support you as women, and I believe in you, “ Kidman gushed. “I think that’s a big statement from her.”

She continued: “We’re determined to give her an extraordinary experience. She’s had a lot of experiences so we just want to make it fun for her and vibrant and exciting.”

Dern echoed Kidman’s enthusiasm for the iconic actress, saying: “It’s amazing! When I tell anyone in my life that Meryl Streep is joining us, it’s incredible!”
Early last month, it was first announced that Streep—whose character bears her real name—would be joining the star-studded cast’s return to Monterey, California.
“She deeply loved her son … as much as any mother can love her son,” Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty teased about Streep’s role during an interview with The Telegraph. “She had a slightly fraught relationship with her daughter-in-law, so it’s a very complicated, difficult time.” We’re staying tuned!

No, Ed Sheeran hasn’t tied the knot yet—he’s just starting an engagement tradition of his own.
The 27-year-old Grammy winner sparked rumors that he and fianceé Cherry Seaborn had secretly wed after he was spotted performing in London wearing a silver ring on that finger, which fans speculated was a wedding band. However, Sheeran cleared the air on the red carpet of the 2018 Brit Awards on Tuesday, telling Dan Wootton of British talk show Lorraine that the accessory was actually his own way to mark the engagement.
“I never saw why men didn’t wear engagement rings. It’s the same commitment either way.” he explained to Lorraine. “Cherry made it for me herself out of silver clay. I really like it.”

A source previously told The Sun that Sheeran was “amused by the fuss [the ring has] caused however has no intentions of taking it off.”
After delivering a raw performance of “Supermarket Flowers” off of his album ÷ at the awards show, Sheeran and his bride-to-be, 25, skipped the afterparties in favor of a chill dinner together at Gymkhana restaurant in London. The singer rocked a red jacket and covered up in a black baseball cap, while Seaborn wore a black and silver halter dress.
Sheeran’s band was still snug around his finger during the outing, while Seaborn showed off her enviable rock.

Sheeran also cleared up another rumor on the red carpet: that he may be performing at Prince Harry‘s upcoming nuptials to Meghan Markle.
“They asked, ‘If you were asked, would you say yes?’ And I was like, ‘Of course.’ But journalists like, everyone’s like, ‘He’s playing it!’ But no one’s looked at my tour dates. I’m in Ireland, I can’t do it,” he explained to the BBC. “I haven’t been asked either.”
Although Seaborn and Sheeran have known one another since they were kids, things didn’t turn romantic until the summer of 2015, when after the latter’s close pal Taylor Swift invited Seaborn over for her annual star-studded Fourth of July bash at her Rhode Island home.

“I’ve known Cherry since I was 11,” the “Perfect” singer told People last year. “She worked on Wall Street in New York, and I had like six shows [around New York in 2015]. It was around then, and we reconnected. I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor’s Fourth of July party. I was texting [Seaborn], and she was like, ‘I’m in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,’ and I was like, ‘So am I.’ I kinda said to Taylor, ‘Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?’ The rest is history.”
Sheeran and Seaborn, a risk advisory consultant, announced last month that they had gotten engaged in late 2017.
“Got myself a fiancée just before new year,” Sheeran wrote on Instagram, captioning a sweet photo of himself and Seaborn. “We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx.”
Willow was the last in a line of royal corgis bred by the family for over 70 years. The Queen made the heartbreaking decision to stop breeding the dogs in 2012, because “she didn’t want to leave any young dog behind.”
Social media users are mourning the Queen’s loss around the world.
While Willow’s death is certainly crushing, the queen still cares for two dorgis (corgi-dachshund mixes) named Vulcan and Candy.

Isn’t it better to watch the Oscars and actually know what the nominated films are about?
There are nine nominated movies in the best picture category and while you officially have less than a day to catch up with them, there’s another way to feel in-the-know: The short films. Just as they sound, these movies are shorter, generally easier to digest, and don’t take up quite as much of your time; yet, they’re just as good.
In case you’re wondering, the Academy’s definition of a short film is “an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits.” The categories include Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, and Documentary Short Subject.
So how, exactly, can you access these this films at the tip of your fingers? Currently, these Oscar-nominated short films are being shown across the country thanks to Shorts TV and Magnolia Pictures. To check one out, simply visit this link to find the closest theater to you that is featuring them. It’s important to note that these are typically shown in batches as an “event,” meaning you’ll buy tickets to watch either all of the films in the category at once or a selection, depending on your theater.

In most ways, the royal line of succession is straightforward. Once Queen Elizabeth is no longer able to rule, her eldest son, Prince Charles, will take over as king. After him comes Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, soon-to-be baby No. 3, and then Prince Harry.
But when Charles becomes king, will England also have a queen? The answer isn’t as simple.
Prince Charles has been married to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, since 2005, though they’ve known each other for a lot longer than that. They dated before, during, and after their respective former marriages—Charles to Princess Diana, and Camilla to Andrew Parker Bowles—to much controversy. Will the world see a Queen Camilla though? It’s now more possible now than 10 years ago.

Before Charles and Camilla were married, it was announced that she would be a “princess consort,” not queen, when Charles became king. Some thought this was a move made out of respect to Princess Diana, whom Charles cheated on with Camilla. The princess consort title had never before been used in British history, but the Prince of Wales’s website defined it clearly.
“As was explained at the time of their wedding in April 2005, it is intended that The Duchess will be known as HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales Accedes to The Throne,” it said.

It was cut and dry then, that Camilla would not become queen, until this week. In the time since it was posted, that particular section of the website defining the princess consort title has conveniently disappeared.
“Our Frequently Asked Questions are updated regularly,” a representative from Kensington Palace told the Telegraph when asked. “This is one question that Clarence House has not been asked by the public for some time, which is why it no longer features.”
It remains to be seen if Camilla will ultimately be a queen or a princess consort, but with the title’s quiet removal from official royal communication, it’s anyone’s guess.

Young Hollywood love took a blow on Tuesday when Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik announced their breakup after more than two years of dating, but it left some fans concerned … for Malik’s chest.
As any diehard Gigi/Zayn fan knows, back in January, Hadid posted a cute video of Malik dancing around without a shirt on. It was a sweet moment of a relationship now concluded. That said, looking a little closer at the video reveals something that is, in hindsight, alarming: Zayn Malik’s tattoo, right on his chest.
Malik goofs around and smack dab in the middle of his chest is a gigantic tattoo of what resembles Gigi Hadid’s eyes. The permanent ink wasn’t officially affirmed as an ode to Gigi by either member of the former power couple, but fans were wholly convinced. It’s a little tough to look at now, in light of the breakup news.
