Felling of trees is rampant, but regrowing it at some other place should be the least these authorities should do in order to make up for the environment’s loss.

Around 9,800 trees along the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border are set to be felled for the second phase of the proposed Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) connecting Hosur in Tamil Nadu with outer Bengaluru, a report in the Times of India said.
