Viewership For Impact Wrestling On Pop TV Premiere

Tuesday night’s live TNA Impact Wrestling premiere on Pop TV averaged 255,000 viewers. The featured Ethan Carter III winning the TNA World championship, the return of James Storm and the debuts of “The Miracle” Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis.

By comparison, their first show on Destination America drew 359,000 viewers while the final primetime episode of Impact on Destination America Drew 269,000 viewers.

Pop TV is available in approximately 20% more homes than Destination America, so the Pop premiere drawing fewer viewers than the Destination America finale is somewhat of a disappointment. That said, Impact was on a new network and a new night, so things could have been a lot worse.
