* Mojo Rawley vs. Chris Atkins
– Independent wrestler John Skyler worked a dark match against WWE veteran Kane prior to the SmackDown Live show on Tuesday night in Nashville, Tennessee. Obviously Kane would go on to win the match. While it wasn’t televised, it has been noted that WWE is looking to return to the old school format of having “enhancement” talents and matches.
– One of the official theme songs for this year’s WWE SummerSlam event will be “Welcome” by the band Fort Minor. WWE SummerSlam takes place on Sunday, August 21st from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
